Amandeep Singh, Prop. of the colony attended the hearing on 22.09.2022, wherein it was informed that only 20 rooms are occupied and as such STP is not being operated. He further requested for some time to attend all the shortcomings and to apply for obtaining consent to operate of the Board under Water Act, 1974.</span></p>

Further, as the residential labour colony is established in PCPIR Zone of notified Master Plan, Raman Mandi, it cannot be regularized in the non-designated area on permanent basis. Moreover, the PP has not made any effort to ensure the compliance of the provisions of the Water Act, 1974 and is discharging its untreated effluent onto land for stagnation.</span></p>
