<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Kindly peruse the note and recommendation given by RO . It intimated that RO has reported that the site is suitable for such type of project and PP has obtained NOC from the MC kurali for the disposal of treated effluent into MC sewer, the PP is also complying with the decision of the previous hearing, and no family is residing at the residential colony. So the reply submitted by PP w.r.t SCN is satisfactory.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">May if approved CTE applied by PP be granted for one year with special conditions as proposed by EE, RO. An additional condition may be imposed that ) </span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"> 1) The project proponent shall not give possessions to the owners without installing the adequate capacity STP to handle the treated wastewater load under any circumstances.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">2) The project proponent will not discharge domestic effluent into the sewer leading to terminal STP, kurali without prior written permission of the Board.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"> 3) The project proponent shall install a water meter on the freshwater supply as well as on all proposed modes of disposal points and maintain the record of the same. </span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">4) The industry shall obtain the necessary clearance for the abstraction of groundwater from the Punjab Water Regulation & Development Authority (PWRDA).</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">5) The promoter company shall ensure compliance with the Solid Waste Management Rules, 2016, and being the bulk waste generator shall ensure segregation of solid waste at source, facilitate collection of segregated waste in separate streams, handover recyclable material to either the authorized waste pickers or the authorized recyclers as prescribed in Solid Waste Management Rules, 2016.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">6) The PP shall install the smog gun to control the dust emission to be generated from the construction activities of the project.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">7) The promoter company shall ensure that the total built-up area of construction being carried out by it or any different builders may not be greater than 20,000 sqm, otherwise, the project as such is covered under category 8(a) of the schedule appended to the EIA notification and project proponent of the building and construction project is required to obtain the environmental clearance, failure which, the promoter company/builder shall be liable for action for the violation of EIA notification dated14/09/2006.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">8) The promoter company shall ensure that the total built-up area of all individual projects/plots combined together is not more than 1,50,000 sqm, otherwise, the project as such is covered under category 8(b) of the schedule appended to the EIA notification and project proponent of the area development project is required to obtain the environmental clearance, failure which, the promoter company shall be liable for action for the violation of EIA notification dated14/09/2006.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">9. The bio-degradable waste shall be processed, treated, and disposed of through a mechanical composter. The residual waste shall be given to the waste collectors or agency as directed by the local body.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">10. The promoter company shall not consume any fuel except HSD for DG set, for burning purposes without the prior written permission of the Board.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">11) The industry shall ensure compliance with provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981, the Environment (Protection) Act, 1986, and or any other environment law applicable to him and rules, circulars issued by the Board from time to time.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">12. In case of any violation action u/s 33-A of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 will be initiated for closure of the project proponent without further notice.</span></p>
