<p class="MsoNormal" style="color: #5d5d5d; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: justify; background-color: #ffffff; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-indent: 1.5in; line-height: 24px;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 24px; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">Now, the industry has applied for renewal of consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 <span style="background-image: initial; background-position: initial; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial;">for the production of YARN @ 5000 Kgs/day with the disposal of only domestic effluent @ 2.0 KLD onto land for plantation after treatment through septic tank.</span> The industry has deposited Rs. 90,000/- vide R. No. 832944645 dated 26.12.2022 under Water Act, 1974, and Rs. 98,400/- vide R no. 351415250 dated 26.12.2022 under Rs. 90,000/- as Air Act, 1981 and Rs. 84,00/- as NOC regularization fee. The fee submitted by the industry is adequate upto 31.12.2028 under both acts.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="color: #5d5d5d; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: justify; background-color: #ffffff; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-indent: 1.5in; line-height: 24px;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 24px; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The industry was visited by AEE of this office on 04.01.2023 and observed that:-</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst" style="color: #5d5d5d; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: justify; background-color: #ffffff; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-indent: -0.25in; line-height: 24px;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 24px; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">1.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 24px; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The industry was in operation and the same is a spinning mill.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="color: #5d5d5d; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: justify; background-color: #ffffff; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-indent: -0.25in; line-height: 24px;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 24px; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">2.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 24px; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The industry does not generate any trade effluent and domestic effluent is being collected in septic tank. The industry has provided adequate plantation for disposal of domestic effluent.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="color: #5d5d5d; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: justify; background-color: #ffffff; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-indent: -0.25in; line-height: 24px;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 24px; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">3.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 24px; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The industry has installed one D.G set of capacity 500 KVA, which are equipped with canopy and adequate stack height.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="color: #5d5d5d; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: justify; background-color: #ffffff; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-indent: -0.25in; line-height: 24px;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 24px; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">4.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 24px; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The industry has already submitted approved building plan from Director of Factories, Punjab.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="color: #5d5d5d; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: justify; background-color: #ffffff; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-indent: -0.25in; line-height: 24px;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 24px; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">5.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 24px; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The industry has already submitted a copy of letter issued by DTP, Ludhiana vide no. 1836 dated 27.07.2017 stating that the site of the industry falls under industrial zone as per notified Master Plan, Ludhiana.</span></p>
