G14JALCTOW2089026 dated 28.11.2014 valid upto 31.12.2022 and vide no. G14JALCTOA2088991 dated 28.11.2014 valid upto 31.12.2022 under green category.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: 115%; margin: 0cm 0cm 6.0pt 0cm;"><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;"> Now the industry has applied for renewal of consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act 1981 under orange category. The industry has deposited Rs.14500/- vide UTR.No. N351222251834903 dated 17.12.2022 under Water Act 1974 and Rs.16800/- (Including Rs. 1800 as NOC fee and Rs. 500/- as application form fee) vide UTR.No. N350222250953501 dated 16.12.2022 under Air Act, 1981 which is adequate upto 30.09.2027.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: 115%; margin: 0cm 0cm 6.0pt 0cm;"><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;"> The industry was visited by the AEE of this office on 06.01.2023 and it was observed that the industry was in operation during visit and is engaged in manufacturing of hawai chappals. The industry has installed 1 no. baby boiler with adequate stack height. The industry has not installed any D.G set inside its premises. There is no source of generation of trade effluent. Domestic effluent is being discharged into sewer. Entire cooling is being re-circulated. The industry falls in industrial zone as per DTP letter no. 348 dated 03.03.2014 in which it is mentioned that Saini Colony falls in general industrial zone as per Master Plan Jalandhar(2009-2031). The industry has already submitted building plan from approved architect from Director of Factories, Punjab. The industry is complying with conditions of consent granted to it under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 as amended in 1988 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act 1981.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman','serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA;"> Keeping in view of above, it is recommended that renewal of consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act 1981 may be granted to the industry upto 30.09.2027 with suitable conditions as per policy of the Board.</span></p> |
