It is pertinent to mention here that the industry has already obtained the environmental clearance from Government of India, Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (Impact Assessment Division) vide no. EC21A022PB133062 dated 25.10.2021 for the expansion of the project by installing 200 KLPD grain-based Ethanol Plant (Additional Biofuel production) and additional 10 MW of power cogeneration at the existing location by M/s. BCL Industries Ltd. located at village Machhana and Sangat Kalan, Tehsil and District Bathinda, Punjab with conditions mentioned therein.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-US">Moreover, while processing the previous NOC application no. 17429572 note dated 14.12.2021 of the industry it was recommended that NOC for Expansion of existing 200 KLPD grain-based distillery unit and cogeneration power plant of 10 MW by addition of 18.725 acres land area in the existing premises of 39.638 acres and by installing additional 200 KLPD grain-based Ethanol Plant (Additional Biofuel production) along with installation of new 10 MW of power cogeneration at the existing location may be granted. Hence, industry need not to deposit NOC fee.</span></p>
