<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpLast" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: normal; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="mso-bidi-font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Bookman Old Style'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Bookman Old Style'; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">2.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="mso-bidi-font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">The centre will obtain revised Environmental Clearance of the project for the increased built up area @ 320.14 sqm, if temporary construction is not to be put in operation and for the increased area of 8164.01 sqm, if the temporary construction is to be used.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="mso-bidi-font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma;">But, copy of the legal opinion given by SLO has not been attached online. The matter was discussed with SEE, ZP-2. Since, MS, SEIAA has been requested by the Board vide letter no. 25 dated 03/01/2023 (copy attached) </span><span lang="EN-IN" style="mso-bidi-font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma; mso-bidi-language: EN-US;">that the total constructed area of the building is 54,332.01 sqm. Whereas, the Environmental Clearance was granted vide letter no. SEIAA/2015/7482 dated 26/11/2015 for total land area of the project as 1,01,766.72 sqm and the total built up area as 46,168 sqm. As such, the total land area remains the same, however the total built up has exceeding the allowed area of 46,168 m<sup>2</sup>. Therefore, the Project Proponent needs to get the revised EC. Further, the total cost of th project is Rs. 233.56 Crores, thus the competency to decide the case lies with the PBIP, Chandigarh. </span></p>
