<p style="text-align: justify;">The agenda note and report / recommendations of AEE/EE, RO, may kindly be perused.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The ‘Consents to Operate’ under the Water Act, 1974 was granted to the industry vide no: CTOW/Fresh/LDH3/2021/15687496 dated 10.06.2021 valid upto 09.06.2022 for reclaimed rubber @ 4.5 Tonnes/Day with conditions mentioned therein.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Now, the industry has applied through OCMMS for renewal of ‘Consent to operate’ under the Water Act, 1974 to manufacture reclaimed rubber @ 4.5 TPD. The industry has already deposited Rs. 42,000/- vide online R. No. 968012929 dated 20.04.2021 under the Water Act, 1974 as consent fee, which is adequate upto 30.09.2025 after deducting penalty under Water Act, 1974. The value gross fixed assets of the industry is Rs. 163.19 Lakhs.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The industry was visited by AEE of RO on 16.12.2022 & 06.01.2023 and it was observed as under:</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">1. The industry was not in operation.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">2. The industry has installed one wood fired thermic fluid heater of capacity 06 Lakh Kcal. The industry has provided cyclone separator as APCD with thermic fluid heater and has provided stack of adequate height along with proper sampling facility.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">3. There is no generation of trade effluent from the process. Domestic waste water generated from the premises is discharged onto land for plantation after treatment through septic tanks.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">4. The industry has installed one DG set of capacity 250KVA equipped with canopy along with adequate stack height.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Keeping in view of the above, it is recommended that Renewal of ‘Consent to Operate’ under the Water Act, 1974 may be granted to the industry to manufacture reclaimed rubber @ 4.5 TPD for period upto 30.09.2025, subject to suitable conditions.</p>
