CTOW/Varied/ASR/2017/5713271 dated 18/07/2017, which is valid up to dated 30/06/2024</span><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"> and under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide no. </span><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-language: PA;">CTOA/Varied/ASR/2017/5713210 dated 18/07/2017, which is valid up to dated 31/03/2022 for manufacturing of Finished Man Made Fabrics @ 25000 Meter/day by using </span><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-ansi-language: EN-IN; mso-bidi-language: PA;">Man Made Fabrics </span><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-language: PA;">@ 25000 Meter/day, Dyes @ 65 Kgs/day & Chemicals @ 325 Kgs/day as raw material and using Pet Coke @ 3.5 MTD, Pet Coke @ 3.5 MTD & Pet Coke @ 3.5 MTD as fuel in its Boilers & thermopacks.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"><span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span>Now, the industry has applied for renewal of consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and varied consent to operate under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for change of fuel i.e. Pet Coke @ 5 TPD or Rice Husk @ 10 TPD as an alternate fuel in its Boiler of capacity @ 8 TPH and Pet Coke @ 3.5 TPD or Rice Husk @ 8.5 TPD as an alternate fuel in its thermopack of capacity @ 2500U. The industry has submitted CA Certificate, Compliance of the previous granted consents, Drawing of Fluidized Bed of boiler and request letter regarding seeking permission for using alternate fuel.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"><span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span>The industry was visited by officer of this office on 09/01/2023 and observed as under:-</span></p>

Boiler of 8 TPH, in which Pet Coke @ 5 TPD was being used respectively as told by the representative.</span></p>

<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left: .75in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma; mso-fareast-language: EN-US;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">8.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-fareast-theme-font: minor-fareast; mso-fareast-language: EN-US;">As per the drawing provided along with application the industry has converted its boiler to fluidized bed and same was verified during the visit.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"><span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span>It is further intimated that the industry is complying with the conditions of consents granted earlier under Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981. The industry falls in Red category in the Medium scale sector and competency to decide the case lies with Chief Environmental Engineer of the Board.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"><span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span>Keeping in view of above, may if approved, the consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry up to 31/03/2027 with suitable terms & conditions along with special condition that the industry will get analyzed its effluent/emission samples from Board’s Lab within 02 months.</span></p> |
