<p>Sir RO has reported that earlier, Consent to Operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 was granted to the industry for the operation of Hot Mix Plant vide online reference no. CTOW/Fresh/GRP/2018/8454858& CTOA/Renewal/GRP/2021/16023936 dated 01/10/2018&CTOA/Renewal/GRP/2019/9274634 dated 22/09/2019 for the production of Premix @ 400 MTD, which were valid utpo 30/09/2023 under Orange Category.</p>
<p>Now the industry has applied for obtaining further extension in validity of consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for the operation of Hot Mix Plant through OCMMS in a totally paperless manner by uploading necessary documents as PDF.</p>
<p>The industry has deposited Rs. 64,800/- vide UTR No. 227773892 dated 05/01/2023 as consent to operate fee under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 including Rs. 10800/- as NOC Regularization fee and Rs. 54,500/- vide UTR No. 714889808 dated 05/01/2023 as consent to operate fee under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 against the value of gross fixed assets of less than Rs. 2,13,36,494/- as on 31/12/2022, which is adequate upto 30/09/2028.</p>
<p>As per policy of the Board and in the light of Head Office Order No. 59 dated 02/02/2016, the consent cases of Orange Category units are to be processed without visiting them.</p>
<p>RO has recommended that Consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be extended upto 30/09/2028 subject to suitable conditions along with special condition the industry shall analysed its air emission samples within 02 months from the Board Lab.</p>
<p>Keeping in view of above, Consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be extended upto 30/09/2027 subject to suitable conditions along with special conditions that:-</p>
<p>1. The industry shall analysed its air emission samples within 02 months from the Board Lab.</p>
<p>2. The industry shall comply with the guidelines issued by CPCB/PPCB and Code of practice framed by the Board for HMPs completely all the times.</p>
<p>3. The HMP shall obtain statutory clearance from the other Departments applicable.</p>
<p>4. The HMP shall install energy meter for APCD and will maintain record of the same.</p>
