<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: .5in; line-height: 115%;"><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style',serif;">It is submitted that the industry is a small scale orange category unit and has been granted Consent to operate under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide no. CTOA/Renewal/LDH4/2021/15356688 dated 24.07.2021 is valid upto 22.01.2022. Now, the industry has applied for renewal of consent to operate under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 through OCMMS. The industry has deposited Rs. 10,800/- vide UTR no. 000328700121 dated 15.03.2021 under Air Act, 1981 & Rs. 10,800/- vide UTR no. 000328699663 dated 15.03.2021, which is adequate upto 30.09.2025.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: .5in; line-height: 115%;"><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style',serif;">To verify the facts, the industry was visited by the undersigned on 09.01.2023 and it was observed as under:-</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style',serif;">1. The industry is manufacturing plastic products i.e. seats of Baby Cycle, Cans and Try Cycle Wheels and was in operation during visit. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style',serif;">2. The industry is using fresh granules for manufacturing of cans and recycled granules for manufacturing of try cycle wheels.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style',serif;">3. The industry has installed blow moulding machines, which were in operation during visit. The industry has installed water scrubber as an APCD with adequate stack height for the machine used for manufacturing of tyre cycle wheels from recycled granules. No visible emissions were observed from the blow moulding machines during the visit. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style',serif;">4. There is no source of trade effluent. Domestic effluent is discharged into sewer & cooling water is re-circulated through cooling tower. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style',serif;">5. The industry has not installed any boiler, furnace and DG set in the premises. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style',serif;">In view of above, it is recommended that consent to operate under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry upto 30.09.2025 with special condition that the industry will register themselves on a Centralized EPR Portal developed by CPCB .</span></p>
