<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">Sir, it clarified that the source of fresh water is PSIEC supply and the industry has installed Electro Magnetic Flow Meter on the supply line of water. The representative of the industry is maintaining record regarding consumption of water supplied by the PSIEC.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">The domestic effluent generated from its premises is being discharged into PSIEC sewer which is further connected to terminal STP of capacity 2 MLD installed at Focal Point, Dera Bassi. Trade effluent generated is being lifted through CETP, Chanalon. Water audit was carried out and same was found in order and the industry is maintaining the record regarding consumption of fresh water, generation and disposal of effluent and same was found in order.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">In view of the above, it is once again recommended that ‘Consent to Operate' under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 may be granted to the industry for 30.06.2025 subject to suitable terms and conditions as per earlier consents granted by the Board.</p> |
