CTOA/Renewal/FDK/2022/19874922 and CTOW/Renewal/FDK/2022/19874940 dated 11.10.2022, respectively valid upto 10.04.2023, subject to the suitable conditions mentioned therein alongwith the specific that the marriage palace shall submit copy of building plan approved from Concerned authority.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style', 'serif';">&nbsp;</span></p> <p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst" style="text-indent: -0.25in;"><span style="font-family: Wingdings;">&Oslash;<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';">&nbsp;&nbsp;</span></span><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style', 'serif';">Now, the palace has applied for renewal of consents to operate under the Water Act, 1974 &amp; the Air Act, 1981. Details of the case are as under :</span></p> <p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle"><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style', 'serif';">&nbsp;</span></p> <p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.5in;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 18.4px; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style', 'serif';"><span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</span>i.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</span></span><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style', 'serif';">The marriage palace has submitted copy of building plan approved by Senior Town Planner, Ludhiana vide memo no. 1334 STP(L)/TW12M dated 03.06.2021</span></p> <p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpLast" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.5in;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 18.4px; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style', 'serif';"><span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</span>ii.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</span></span><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style', 'serif';">The marriage Palace has submitted copy of CA certificate regarding its gross fixed as on 09.09.2022 of Rs. 39.55 lacs. The marriage palace has already deposited consent fee amounting to Rs. 20,300 (Rs. 14,500/- vide R.no. AXSK202510004722 dt. 07.09.2020 Rs. 5800/- vide online R. No. 61693715 dated 10.09.2022) and Rs. 20,300/- (Rs. 14,500/- vide R. AXSK202510006112 dt. 07.09.2020 Rs. 5800/- vide online R. No. 17385735 dated 10.09.2022) under the Water Act, 1974 and the Air Act, 1981, adequate up to 30.09.2025 under each Act after imposing penalty of 200 % of one year consent to operate fee.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<br /><br /></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1in;"><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style', 'serif';">The marriage palace was recently visited by officer of this office on&nbsp;&nbsp;21.09.2022 and found complying with the provisions of Water Act, 1974 &amp; Air Act, 1981.&nbsp;&nbsp;Further, no complaint is pending against the marriage palace.</span></p> <p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.25in;"><span style="font-family: Wingdings;">&Oslash;<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';">&nbsp;&nbsp;</span></span><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style', 'serif';">Punjab Pollution Control Board in order to facilitate the industries vide office order no. 59 dt. 02.02.2016 has decided that renewal of consents to operate under the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 will be granted to the industries (Orange/Green Category- Small Scale) without visiting the unit within 7 days.</span></p> <p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.25in;"><span style="font-family: Wingdings;">&Oslash;<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';">&nbsp;&nbsp;</span></span><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style', 'serif';">Further, it is intimated that the marriage palace will be visited during tour to that area within two months to check the compliance under the provisions of the Water Act, 1974 and the Air Act, 1981 and report will be submitted accordingly.</span></p> <p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpLast" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style', 'serif';">&nbsp;</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 49.5pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style', 'serif';">It is therefore recommended that consents to operate under the Water Act, 1974 and the Air Act, 1981 may be granted to the marriage palace for hall of capacity 500 persons, a period upto 30.09.2025 each, subject to suitable conditions mentioned therein.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 49.5pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style', 'serif';">Competency : SEE</span></p> <p><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style', 'serif';">&nbsp;</span></p>
