<p class="MsoBodyText2" style="line-height: 24px;"><span style="font-size: 10.5pt; line-height: 21px;">It is intimated that earlier, Consent to Operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 was granted to the industry for the operation of Hot Mix Plant vide online reference no. CTOW/Fresh/GRP/2018/756637 & CTOA/Renewal/GRP/2018/7566283 dated 05/06/2018 for the production of Premix for Metalled Roads @ 200 MTD, which were valid utpo 30/09/2022 under Orange Category.</span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText2" style="line-height: 24px;"><span style="font-size: 10.5pt; line-height: 21px;"> Now the industry has applied for obtaining further extension in validity of consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for the operation of Hot Mix Plant through OCMMS in a totally paperless manner by uploading necessary documents as PDF.</span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText2" style="line-height: 24px;"><span style="font-size: 10.5pt; line-height: 21px;"> The industry has deposited Rs. 16,500/- vide UTR No. 559937583 dated 09/01/2023 & Rs. 16,500/- vide UTR No. 612740829 dated 09/01/2023 as consent to operate fee under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 including Rs. 500/- as Form Downloading Fee against the value of gross fixed assets of less than Rs. 33,707,750/- as on 31/03/2022, including NOC Regularization fee which is adequate upto 30/09/2027.</span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText2" style="line-height: 24px;"><span style="font-size: 10.5pt; line-height: 21px;"> The industry falls in orange category in small scale sector and competency to decide the case lies with the Senior Environmental Engineer, Zonal Office, Amritsar.</span> <span style="font-size: 10.5pt; line-height: 21px;"> </span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 10.5pt; line-height: 16.1px; font-family: Calibri, 'sans-serif';"> As per policy of the Board and in the light of Head Office Order No. 59 dated 02/02/2016, the consent cases of Orange Category units are to be processed without visiting them.</span><span style="font-size: 11pt; line-height: 16.8667px; font-family: Calibri, 'sans-serif';"> </span><span style="font-size: 10pt; line-height: 15.3333px; font-family: 'GurmukhiLys 020 Wide';"> </span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 10pt; line-height: 15.3333px; font-family: 'GurmukhiLys 020 Wide';"><span style="font-size: 11pt; line-height: 16.8667px; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style', 'serif';">Keeping in view of above, the application of Consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted upto 30/09/2027 subject to suitable conditions along with special condition the industry shall analysed its air emission samples within 02 months from the Board Lab.</span></span></p> |
