It is submittd that the solvex units are required to obtain SAC clearance for extraction of oil . However, in the present case, the industry is an existing unit and the industry is not increasing  its production capacity.  Further, The industry has also submitted a letter w. r. t. land use classification  addressed to Director of Factories, Punjab, SAS Nagar,  vide letter no. 2163 DTP (P) A-31N dated 20.10.2022 in which it is mentioned that existing land of industry falls in industrial land use zone as per draft master plan of Nabha and proposed additional land falls in Agriculture area as per draft master plan of Nabha and orange category unit (code-2071) is allowed to set up in Agriculture Zone as per Punjab Govt. Notification vide no. PS/PSHUD/206 dated 12.11.2021. In view of above, the industry is required to obtain SAC clearance for additional added land.  It is recommended that consent to establish (NOC) for expansion of unit may be granted to the industry for the replacement of its existing boiler having capacity of 8.0 TPH (using Rice Husk as fuel) (to be kept as stand-by) with a new boiler having capacity of 10.0 TPH (Paddy Straw fuel based) and an addition of land of 8 Bighe – 0 Biswe with its existing land of 13 Bighe 19 Biswe for manufacturing of  Rice Bran Oil @ 30.0 MT/day and De-oiled Cake @ 170.0 MT/day by processing of Rice Bran @ 200.0 MT/day and Hexane @ 400 liter/day, as raw material and for discharge of trade effluent @ 0.2 KLD onto land for plantation after passing through oil and grease traps followed by treated in septic tank, domestic effluent @ 4.5KLD onto land for plantation after treated in Septic tank and boiler blow down @ 0.1 KLD onto land for plantation under the orange category for one year with suitable conditions as per the policy of the Board and following additional conditions: - 1.    The industry shall obtain SAC clearance before starting any industrial activity in the additional land.  2.The industry shall bound to comply with the bye-laws of the Master Plan of Nabha. 3.     The industry shall obtain permission from  Groundwater Regultory Authority, Punjab for abstraction of ground water.   4.     The industry shall maintain the plantation area properly so that the wastewater can be utilized properly in a scientific manner in the plantation area.
