<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: 70.9pt; text-align: justify;">Earlier, the Consent to Establish was granted to the project proponent for the establishment of the Ready-Mix Concrete plant vide dated 25/05/2022 which is valid upto 31/03/2023 subject to suitable conditions.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: 70.9pt; text-align: justify;">Now, the project proponent has applied for Consent to Operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 along with requisite documents and fees. The applicant has submitted a Compliance report of Consent to Establish, Site plan/Location Plan, proof regarding Small scale industry, Latest CA Certificate regarding Fixed assets of the industry, Manufacturing Process flow chart and Approval of the Building plan by the Department of Town & Country Planning, Punjab. The documents submitted by the industry may kindly be perused.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: 70.9pt; text-align: justify;">The industry was visited by undersigned on 12/01/2023 and it was observed that the industry has installed its complete Machinery for production of Ready-Mix Concrete and is ready for operation. There is no source of Air pollution or Water pollution. The domestic effluent generated from the industry is discharged onto land for plantation after the septic tank. The industry has installed DG Set with a canopy and adequate stack height. The industry has installed water sprinklers for the containment of dust particles. There is no specific Code of practice prescribed by the Board for such type of units.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: 70.9pt; text-align: justify;">In view of the above, if approved, Consent to Operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry upto 31/12/2032 subject to suitable conditions and special conditions as under:-</p>
