CTOW/Varied/SGR/2022/18712927 dated 25/05/2022 & the Air Act, 1981 vide no. CTOA/Varied/SGR/2022/18712403 dated 25/05/2022, both valid upto 24/11/2022 for manufacturing of Plastic Dana and Gitta @ 400 Kg/day by using Plastic waste @ 400 Kg/day, as raw material.</span></p>
<p class="TableParagraph" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 44.8pt; line-height: 12.75pt; mso-line-height-rule: exactly; margin: 0in 4.45pt .0001pt 5.35pt;"><span lang="EN-US" style="mso-font-width: 115%;">Now, the industry has applied for obtaining consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 & the Air Act, 1981 for manufacturing of Plastic Dana and Gitta @ 400 Kg/day by using Plastic waste @ 400 Kg/day, as raw material.</span></p>
<p class="TableParagraph" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 44.8pt; line-height: 12.75pt; mso-line-height-rule: exactly; margin: 0in 4.45pt .0001pt 5.35pt;"><span lang="EN-US" style="mso-font-width: 115%;">The industry has already deposited consents fee of Rs. 5800/- vide UTR no. AXSK212580006690 dated 15/09/2021 & Rs. 14500 vide UTR no. 36889528 dated 29/03/2021 under the Water Act, 1974 & Rs. 5800/- vide UTR No. AXSK212580006808 dated 15/09/2021 and Rs. 14500/- vide UTR no. 176491380 dated 29/03/2022, against the value of fixed assets of Rs. 29.74 lacs as per CA certificate dated 12/05/2022, which is adequate upto 30/09/2028.</span></p>
<p class="TableParagraph" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 44.8pt; line-height: 12.75pt; mso-line-height-rule: exactly; margin: 0in 4.45pt .0001pt 5.35pt;"><span lang="EN-US" style="mso-font-width: 115%;">To verify the facts, the industry was visited by AEE of this office on 31/12/2022 and it was observed as under:-</span></p>
<p class="TableParagraph" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 12.75pt; mso-line-height-rule: exactly; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; margin: 0in 4.45pt .0001pt 22.5pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span lang="EN-US" style="mso-font-width: 115%;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">1.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span lang="EN-US" style="mso-font-width: 115%;">The industry was in operation. The electric connection of the industry was found intact.</span></p>
<p class="TableParagraph" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 12.75pt; mso-line-height-rule: exactly; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; margin: 0in 4.45pt .0001pt 22.5pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span lang="EN-US" style="mso-font-width: 115%;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">2.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span lang="EN-US" style="mso-font-width: 115%;">The industry has installed one no. extruder equipped with hood and wet scrubber as APCD for manufacturing of plastic granules by using waste plastic as raw material. The industry has also installed one no. grinder and mixture.</span></p>
<p class="TableParagraph" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 12.75pt; mso-line-height-rule: exactly; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; margin: 0in 4.45pt .0001pt 22.5pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span lang="EN-US" style="mso-font-width: 115%;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">3.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span lang="EN-US" style="mso-font-width: 115%;">The industry has dismantled all its other machinery.</span></p>
<p class="TableParagraph" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 12.75pt; mso-line-height-rule: exactly; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; margin: 0in 4.45pt .0001pt 22.5pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span lang="EN-US" style="mso-font-width: 115%;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">4.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span lang="EN-US" style="mso-font-width: 115%;">The industry has also dismantled and sold out the washing section. No trade effluent was found being generated by the industry.</span></p>
<p class="TableParagraph" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 12.75pt; mso-line-height-rule: exactly; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; margin: 0in 4.45pt .0001pt 22.5pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span lang="EN-US" style="mso-font-width: 115%;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">5.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span lang="EN-US" style="mso-font-width: 115%;">The domestic effluent generated from the industry is being discharged onto land for plantation after passing through septic tank.</span></p>
<p class="TableParagraph" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 12.75pt; mso-line-height-rule: exactly; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; margin: 0in 4.45pt .0001pt 22.5pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span lang="EN-US" style="mso-font-width: 115%;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">6.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span lang="EN-US" style="mso-font-width: 115%;">In this regard, the industry has applied for obtaining registration under the Plastic Waste Management Rules, 2016.</span></p>
<p class="TableParagraph" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 44.8pt; line-height: 12.75pt; mso-line-height-rule: exactly; margin: 0in 4.45pt .0001pt 5.35pt;"><span lang="EN-US" style="mso-font-width: 115%;">From the above, the industry is complying with the provisions of the Water Act, 1974 & the Air Act, 1981.</span></p>
<p class="TableParagraph" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 44.8pt; line-height: 12.75pt; mso-line-height-rule: exactly; margin: 0in 4.45pt .0001pt 5.35pt;"><span lang="EN-US" style="mso-font-width: 115%;">Keeping in view of the above, it is recommended that:-</span></p>
<p class="TableParagraph" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 12.75pt; mso-line-height-rule: exactly; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo2; margin: 0in 4.45pt .0001pt 22.5pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span lang="EN-US" style="mso-font-width: 115%;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">1.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span lang="EN-US" style="mso-font-width: 115%;">Electric connection of the industry may be restored temporarily for six months.</span></p>
<p class="TableParagraph" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 12.75pt; mso-line-height-rule: exactly; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo2; margin: 0in 4.45pt .0001pt 22.5pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span lang="EN-US" style="mso-font-width: 115%;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">2.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span lang="EN-US" style="mso-font-width: 115%;">Consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 & the Air Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry for six months with usual conditions and special conditions that :-</span></p>
<p class="TableParagraph" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 44.8pt; line-height: 12.75pt; mso-line-height-rule: exactly; margin: 0in 4.45pt .0001pt 5.35pt;"><span lang="EN-US" style="mso-font-width: 115%;">a) The industry shall not manufacture plastic carry bag and packing material under any circumstances within its premises.</span></p>
<p class="TableParagraph" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 44.8pt; line-height: 12.75pt; mso-line-height-rule: exactly; margin: 0in 4.45pt .0001pt 5.35pt;"><span lang="EN-US" style="mso-font-width: 115%;">b) The industry shall comply with the Plastic Waste Management Rules, 2016, immediately.</span></p> |
