CTOW/Fresh/PTA/2021/16797534 dated 04-10-2021 and under the Air Act, 1981 vide no. CTOA/Fresh/PTA/2021/16769657 dated 04-10-2021, both were valid upto 30-09-2022 for manufacturing of Biomass Fuel Pellets from agriculture waste (Turi) , Saw Dust @ 4 Metric Tonnes/Day by using Biomass like Wheat Straw(Turi) , Saw Dust @ 4 Metric Tonnes/Day as raw material under green category </span><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">with certain conditions mentioned therein.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 130%;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1;">Now, the industry has applied for renewal Consent to Operate under Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 for manufacturing of Biomass Fuel Pellets from agriculture waste (Turi) , Saw Dust @ 4 Metric Tonnes/Day by using Biomass like Wheat Straw(Turi) , Saw Dust @ 4 Metric Tonnes/Day as raw material under green category with requisite documents. The industry has deposited Rs. <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>14500/- vide Receipt no. 605302156 dated 06.01.2023 under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Rs.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>14500/- vide Receipt no. 657569958 dated 05.01.2023 under Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981. The industry has also submitted Rs. 725/- vide Receipt no. 605302156 dated 06.01.2023 & Rs. 725/- vide Receipt no. 657569958 dated 05.01.2023 as a penalty fee under each act. The total consent fee deposited by the industry is adequate upto 30.09.2027 against the fixed assets of Rs. 61.46 lakhs as on 26.12.2022 as per CA certificate submitted by the industry. The industry has submitted compliance report of the consent conditions earlier granted to it under the Water Act, 1974 and under the Air Act, 1981. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 130%;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1;">It is pertinent to mention here that the Board vide Office Order No. 59 dated 02.02.2016 decided to grant auto renewal of Consent to Operate/ Establish to Orange & Green Category of Industries within 7 days of its application submission without the need of visiting the site/ premises of the industry, in order to facilitate the industry. The industry has submitted an undertaking to the effect that there is no change/addition in existing plant & machinery of unit as on date and shall be complying with the conditions granted to it in the consents. </span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst" style="margin-left: 4.5pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 130%; tab-stops: 112.5pt;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 11.0pt; line-height: 130%; font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1;">The industry is complying with provisions of Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-left: 4.5pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 130%; tab-stops: 112.5pt;"><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; line-height: 130%; font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1; mso-ansi-language: EN-IN;">In view of the above, it is </span><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 11.0pt; line-height: 130%; font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1;">recommended</span><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; line-height: 130%; font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1; mso-ansi-language: EN-IN;"> that the consent to operate granted to the industry under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be extended upto 31.12.2026 for manufacturing of Biomass Fuel Pellets from agriculture waste (Turi) , Saw Dust @ 4 Metric Tonnes/Day by using Biomass like Wheat Straw(Turi) , Saw Dust @ 4 Metric Tonnes/Day as raw material under green category with usual conditions as per the policy of the Board and with a following additional conditions that: <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span></span></p>
