CTOA/Fresh/SAS/2018/8868363 dated 20.11.2018 both having validity upto 31.12.2025, for manufacturing of Pet Preforms <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>@ 4400Kgs/day & Aluminium Caps @ 250000 Numbers/Day.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 6pt; text-indent: 1in; line-height: 150%; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma;">Now, the industry has applied online for obtaining ‘Consent to Establish’ (NOC) for expansion of the unit under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981, for production of Pet Preforms @ 14.5 MTD.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-right: 0.2pt; text-indent: 70.9pt; line-height: 150%; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma;">The industry has deposited Rs. 6900/- vide R. no. 79975818 dated 29.12.2022 including application form fee, against the cost of the project of Rs. 160 lakh (as per project report). The NOC fees deposited by the industry is adequate for one years. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-right: 0.2pt; text-indent: 70.9pt; line-height: 150%; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma;">The industry has its existing unit in an area of 0.4744 acres (02 Bigha, 10 Biswa) in Khasra nos. 806/2 of village<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Bhagwanpur, Derabassi, SAS nagar. Now, the industry has proposed the carry out expansion by adding another 02 Bigha and 03 Biswa (having Khasra nos. 803/2(2-13), 806/2 (3-13), 807/2 (2-16-0), in its existing premises.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-right: 0.2pt; line-height: 150%; text-align: justify;"><strong><u><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma;">Suitability of Site:</span></u></strong></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0.2pt 6pt 0in; text-indent: 70.9pt; line-height: 150%; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma;">The industry has submitted a classification of land use issued by DTP, SAS Nagar vide letter no. 561 dated 30.03.2022, wherein it has mentioned that Khasra no. 803/2(2-13), 806/2 (3-13), 807/2 (2-16-0), total 02 Bigha and 03 Biswa is falls under ‘F.E.Z zone’ as per Proposed Land Use Plan, Lalru as such the site of suitable for setting up of the unit.</span></p>

After expansion of the unit, domestic effluent @ 0.3 KLD shall be generated from the unit and the industry has proposed to use the same for onto land for plantation within premises after passing through septic tanks (01 existing and 01 proposed). </span></p>
<p class="MsoNoSpacing" style="margin-top: 6pt; text-indent: 70.9pt; line-height: 150%; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma;">The industry is not generating any kind of trade effluent and has not proposed to add any trade effluent generating process after expansion of the unit.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNoSpacing" style="margin-top: 12pt; line-height: 150%; text-align: justify;"><strong><u><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma;">Air Pollution: </span></u></strong></p>
<p class="MsoNoSpacing" style="margin-top: 12pt; line-height: 150%; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma;">The industry has not installed any DG set in its premises. Further, the industry has not proposed to install DG set in its premises even after expansion.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNoSpacing" style="margin-top: 12pt; line-height: 150%; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma;">Further, as the industry is and shall be using only virgin plastic, thus, no fugitive emissions shall be generated from extrusion process.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNoSpacing" style="margin-top: 12pt; line-height: 150%; text-align: justify;"><strong><u><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma;">Applicability of EIA notification dated 14.09.2006:</span></u></strong></p>
<p class="MsoNoSpacing" style="margin-top: 12pt; line-height: 150%; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma;">The process of the industry is not covered under the ambit of EIA notification dated 14.09.2006.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNoSpacing" style="margin-top: 12pt; line-height: 150%; text-align: justify;"><strong><u><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma;">Applicability of SAC clearance:</span></u></strong></p>
<p class="MsoNoSpacing" style="margin-top: 12pt; line-height: 150%; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma;">The process of the industry is not covered under the ambit of SAC.</span></p>

<p class="MsoBodyText" style="margin: 12pt 3.7pt 0.0001pt 0in; text-indent: 1in; line-height: 150%; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';">In view of above, <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>if may approved, ‘consent to establish’ (NOC) for expansion of the unit under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry for one year with usual conditions & with following special conditions:</span></p>
