The total water consumption of the project will be 9.3 KLD (calculation attached). Total waste water generated will be 7.44 KLD (80% of total fresh water consumption). For this the PP will provide STP of capacity 10 KLD, which will be based on MBBR technology and waste water will be discharge onto land for plantation of 0.2 acres.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">&nbsp; </span>As per the project report submitted by the project proponent the components of the proposed STP shall be Storage tank make sizes, Sludge beds, Raw sewage pump, Air blower, MBBR reactor, EA reactor, Tube settler, Sludge re-circulation pump, Filtration pump, Dual media filter carbon &amp; sand, Filtration Tank and Electrical control panel &amp; electricals.</span></p> <p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-left: 1.25in; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style',serif; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Bookman Old Style'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Bookman Old Style'; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">5.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';">&nbsp;&nbsp; </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style',serif; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">&nbsp;</span>At the time of the visit it was observed that the project proponent has yet not started any construction at the site and only boundary is covered by the sheets . As per the boundary limits site shown by the representative of the promoter company during the visit, there is no MAH industry/cement plant/ grinding unit/ rice sheller/ saila plan/ stone crushing/ screening cum washing unit/ hot mix plant/ brick kiln within a radius of 500 m from the boundary of the proposed site of the project. Therefore, the site of the project is conforming to the sitting guidelines laid down by the Govt. of Punjab, Department of Science Technology and Environment vide order dated 25.07.2008 as amended on 30.10.2009. </span></p> <p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-left: 1.25in; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style',serif; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Bookman Old Style'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Bookman Old Style'; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">6.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';">&nbsp;&nbsp; </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style',serif; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1;">As per the map submitted by the industry ,the total covered area is 6209.73 square meter less than 1,50,000 square meter and is not covered under E.C .</span></p> <p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-left: 1.25in; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style',serif; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1;">In view of the above, it is recommended that Consent to Establish (NOC) may be granted to the project proponent for one year with suitable condition as per policy of the Board and special conditions that:-</span></p> <p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-left: 1.25in; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style',serif; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1;">1.<span style="mso-tab-count: 1;">&nbsp; </span>The project proponent will utilize the part of treated water (10 KLD) for green on the land developed as per Karnal Technology and maintain the record of the same.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">&nbsp; </span></span></p> <p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-left: 1.25in; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style',serif; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1;">2.<span style="mso-tab-count: 1;">&nbsp; </span>The project proponent shall obtain permission from the CGWA for the abstraction of additional quantity of ground water. </span></p> <p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-left: 1.25in; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style',serif; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1;">3.<span style="mso-tab-count: 1;">&nbsp; </span>The project proponent shall carry out the construction work of STP at the site, in commensurate with the construction work of the project and shall not allow any occupancy in the project, till the time STP is installed and commissioned at the site</span></p> <p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-left: 1.25in; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style',serif; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1;">4.<span style="mso-tab-count: 1;">&nbsp; </span>The project proponent shall provide separate water meter and energy meter for the STP and maintain record of the same on daily basis. </span></p> <p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-left: 1.25in; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style',serif; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1;">5.<span style="mso-tab-count: 1;">&nbsp; </span>The promoter shall not allow any occupancy in the project till the time adequate arrangements for treatment &amp; disposal of wastewater and solid waste are made as well as 'consents to operate' under the Water Act, 1974 &amp; the Air Act, 1981 are obtained.</span></p> <p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-left: 1.25in; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 107%;
