<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; text-align: justify; background: white;"><span style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; color: black;">Sir, as per record industry was issued notice for revocation of consent granted under Air Act, 1981 along with notice to issue directions u/s 31-A of the Air Act 1981 with hearing before Hon’ble Chairman of the Board as industry was using un-consented fuel. Now Regional Office, Amritsar, has processed fresh consent application of industry reporting that in compliance to decision of hearing on 28/10/2022, industry has deposited Environmental Compensation amouting Rs. 1.0 Lakh. The industry was visited by SEE along with officers of Regional Office, Amritsar on 12/01/2023 and observed that the jet macines were not in operation and only 2 no. stantors were in operation. The representative of industry informed that the jets are not in operation for last six months. The industry has installed ETP but same was not in operation as there was no generation of effluent, but in operational condition. The industry has developed plantation area with proper ridges & forrows and plants were in healthy condition. The thermopac of capacity 2000u was in operation and industry was using mainly wood as fuel and pet coke was also stored & was being used for initial heating. The industry has installed twin cyclone followed by dual alkali scrubber os APCDwith thermopac and same was in operation during visit. The stack was almost clear and reading of SO 2 meter installed was 009. Hence considering status report </span></p>
