<p style="text-align: justify;"> Kindly peruse the agenda note and recommendation given by RO . it is intimated that the industry is engaged in the business to manufacture of Namkeen, Sweets, and Samosa. Previously, CTO applied by the industry was refused and confirmed the directions u/s 33-A of the Water Act, 1974 along with PSPCL authorities directed to disconnect the electric connection as the industry, as has not installed ETP and high concentration pollution load of effluent discharged into sewer discharged by the industry. Now, CTO applied by the industry, R.O. reported that the industry was in operation, and it has installed ETP to treat wastewater generated from the process. The industry has made its best efforts to decrease the concentration of pollution load so as to discharge treated wastewater into the sewer within the prescribed limits of the Board. </p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"> May if approve the following action be approved, please</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->1) <!--[endif]-->Amended directions u/s 33-A of the Water Act, 1974 may be directed to PSPCL authority to restore temporarily the electric connection to the industry for a period of six months</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->2) <!--[endif]-->CTO under Water Act,1974 may be granted for six months with the special conditions as proposed by E.E, RO along with an additional condition may also be imposed that the industry shall not discharge untreated wastewater into the sewer under any circumstances (2) E.E, RO may also be requested to monitor the industry as per protocol framed by the Board to further restoration of electric connection. EE, RO may also be requested to collect the sample from the inlet and out STP to check the performance of same.</p>
