<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 11.5pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">It is intimated that the stone crusher was granted consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 CTOW/Renewal/HSP/2021/15613075 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide no. CTOA/Renewal/HSP/2021/15613059 valid upto 30.09.2025 and same was revoked vide Board letter no. 2475 dated 21.11.2022.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 11.5pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';"> The industry was given personal hearing before the SEE, ZO Jalandhar on 27.12.2022 and decided that:</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst" style="margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt 35.45pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -21.25pt;"><span style="font-family: Arial, 'sans-serif';">1)<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-family: Arial, 'sans-serif'; background: white;">The industry shall remove all the shortcomings as observed by the officer during visit on 14.11.2022 within 07-days.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt 35.45pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -21.25pt;"><span style="font-family: Arial, 'sans-serif';">2)<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-family: Arial, 'sans-serif'; background: white;">The industry shall submit permission for operation of unit from Mining Department within 10-days.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-left: 35.45pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -21.25pt;"><span style="font-family: Arial, 'sans-serif';">3)<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-family: Arial, 'sans-serif'; background: white;">The industry shall apply for obtaining consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 through OCMMS within 07-days.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpLast" style="margin-left: 35.45pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -21.25pt;"><span style="font-family: Arial, 'sans-serif';">4)<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-family: Arial, 'sans-serif'; background: white;">Environmental Engineer, Regional office, Hoshairpur shall visit the industry to verify the compliance of decisions within 15-days and submit the detail report alongwith recommendations in the matter. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt -13.5pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 13.5pt; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 11.5pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';"> Now, the stone crusher has applied for Consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 with requisite documents. The industry has already deposited Rs. 42,000/- vide receipt No. 66/5184 dated 25.11.2019 under Air Act, 1981, Rs. 42,000/- vide receipt No. 65/5184 dated 25.11.2019 under Water Act, 1974 against the fixed assets of Rs. 1.31 Crore, which are adequate up to 30.06.2024. The industry has also deposited Rs. 8400/- vide receipt No. 67/5184 dated 25.11.2019 as NOC regularization fee and Rs. 500/- vide receipt No. 68/5184 dated 25.11.2019 as an application form fee. Now, the fee deposited by the industry is adequate upto 30.09.2025. The industry has uploaded latest C.A certificate, compliance of earlier granted CTO under both Acts, copy of Mining Registration, which is valid upto 10.11.2023.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt -13.5pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 13.5pt; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 11.5pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';"> Thereafter, the stone crusher was visited by undersigned along EE of this office on 10.01.2023 and observed that 1. The industry which is a stone crusher was not in operation at the time of visit. 2. The industry has provided Rotopactors (02 nos.), Jaw Machine (01 no.) and Washing Screener vibrator (02 nos.). 3. During visit, the industry has provided M.S. sheets sheds have been provided over the process emission points such as Jaw, Rotopactor and Vibrators, having flexible access opening for the movement of workers/labourers 4. The industry has provided chutes at the end of the Conveyor Belts from where the product falls for stacking. 5.The rubber quality of conveyor belt is good. 6. During visit, the approach road, ramp and vehicle movement area is stabilized with gravel and boulder etc. 7.The plantation has been done on the both sides of the ramp. 8) The stone crusher has one no. DG Set with canopy.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt -13.5pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 13.5pt; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 11.5pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">In view of above, if approved, it is recommended that consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 applied by the stone crusher may be granted upto 30.09.2023 with suitable terms & conditions and with special condition that :</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst" style="margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt 31.5pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.25in; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">1.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The stone crusher shall comply with the orders of NGT in O.A. No 57/2020 or any relevant orders of Competent Authority in related matter.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt 31.5pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.25in; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">2.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The tone crusher shall comply with the Punjab stone crusher policy 2022 implemented by Govt. of Punjab vide notification no. 5217/Crusher Policy dated 16/08/2022.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt 31.5pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.25in; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">3.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The stone crusher shall maintain the plantation cover around the periphery so as to comply with the code of practice.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt 31.5pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.25in; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">4.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The industry shall provide more plantations around the periphery of the stone crusher.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt 31.5pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.25in; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">5.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The stone crusher shall maintain a stock register to justify the legitimate source of Mining Material, its availability, uses and sales etc.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt 31.5pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.25in; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">6.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The industry shall obtain the registriation from Mining Department.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpLast" style="margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt 31.5pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.25in; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">7.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The industry shall comply with the code of practice prescribed by the Board.</span></p>
