<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Kindly peruse the note and recommendation given by RO. The industry has applied CTE expansion, it has a valid CTO under both Acts, and it has made MOU with M/s PANTECH WATER PRIVATE LIMITED. RO has reported that the site is suitable for such type of project, the industry is maintaining the record regarding the generation and disposal of effluent and the same was found in order. During the visit, the industry was not in operation i.e. the industry is under maintenance.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"> May If approved CTE expansion applied by the industry be granted upto 26/12/23 subject to suitable terms and conditions and additional conditions may be imposed that </span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">1) <span lang="EN-IN">The industry shall not discharge any trade effluent (treated or untreated) into choe / drain /river or in any inland surface water at any time or any other unauthorized place by any unauthorized means.</span></span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"> 2)The industry shall obtain the necessary clearance for the abstraction of groundwater from the Punjab Water Regulation & Development Authority (PWRDA).</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">3) In case of any violation action u/s 33-A of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 will be initiated for closure of the project proponent without further notice.</span></p>
