CTOW/Varied/MOG/2022/18983152 and under the Air Act, 1981 vide no. CTOA/Varied/MOG/2022/18983104 dated 01.07.2022 for manufacturing of Plastic Dana @ 300 Kg/day using Waste Plastic scrap (except plastic carry bags) @ 300 Kg/day as raw material with validity upto 31.12.2022, subject to the conditions mentioned therein. </span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l2 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: Wingdings; mso-fareast-font-family: Wingdings; mso-bidi-font-family: Wingdings;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">Ø<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';">Now, the industry has applied for obtaining renewal of consents to operate under the Water Act, 1974 & the Air Act, 1981 through OCMMS. Details of the case are as under:-</span></p>

The industry has already deposited Rs. 18,000/- each vide UTR.no. SDL106461133 and SDL106461020dt. 08.06.2022 under Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981, which is adequate upto 30.09.2026 under both the Acts.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 99.0pt; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';">Accordingly, a clarification was raised to clarify the above, within 02 days.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left: 58.5pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 99.0pt; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';">The industry has submitted its reply submitted that as per CPCB guidelines for getting EPR Registration for Plastic Waste processors (Refer CPCB Module-II), the industry requires valid consents and registrations under the Plastic Waste Management Rules, 2016. Further, the industry has requested to grant short term consents alongwith registration under the Rules for getting EPR registration on CPCB portal.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l2 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: Wingdings; mso-fareast-font-family: Wingdings; mso-bidi-font-family: Wingdings;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">Ø<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';">Punjab Pollution Control Board in order to facilitate the industries vide office order no. 59 dt. 02.02.2016 has decided that renewal of consents to operate under the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 will be granted to the industries (Orange/Green Category- Small Scale) without visiting the unit within 7 days.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l2 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: Wingdings; mso-fareast-font-family: Wingdings; mso-bidi-font-family: Wingdings;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">Ø<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';">Further, it is intimated that the industry will be visited during tour to that area within two months to check the compliance under the provisions of the Water Act, 1974 and the Air Act, 1981 and report will be submitted accordingly. </span></p>

<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';">Keeping in view of the above may if approved renewal of consents to operate under the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry for a period upto 31.03.2023, subject to the suitable conditions and following specific that:</span></p>
