<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 72.0pt; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-font-width: 115%;">Sir, as discussed, it is submitted that the </span><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-font-width: 115%;"> HCF has applied for obtaining renewal<span style="color: red;"> </span>of consent to operate under the provisions of the Water Act, 1974 and the Air Act, 1981 for the bed capacity of 45 beds as it has dropped the plan of increasing the bed capacity due to in-adequate land for disposal of treated wastewater along with the requisite documents.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 70.9pt; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-font-width: 115%;">Further, the HCF has submitted the report of samples taken from the ETP-cum-STP outlet on 13.01.2023 by M/s Eco Paryavaran Laboratories & Consultants Pvt. Ltd., Mohali which is <strong>attached alongwith</strong> and are within the prescribed limits of the Board and it is clear that the HCF is complying with the provisions of the Water Act, 1974 and the Air Act, 1981.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 72.0pt; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-font-width: 115%;">In light of the facts mentioned above, it is recommended that Consent to Operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for 45 no. beds may be granted to the HCF upto 30/09/2027 subject to the suitable conditions and following additional conditions:</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo3;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Bookman Old Style'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Bookman Old Style'; mso-font-width: 115%;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">1.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-font-width: 115%;">The HCF shall ensure to comply with the effluent standards as notified under Bio Medical Waste Management Rules, 2016 amended upto date and subsequent amendments, if any.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo3;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Bookman Old Style'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Bookman Old Style'; mso-font-width: 115%;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">2.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-font-width: 115%;">The HCF will apply for fresh consent to operate/ authorization if it increases its bed capacity.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo3;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Bookman Old Style'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Bookman Old Style'; mso-font-width: 115%;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">3.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-font-width: 115%;">There is no claim of continuation of HCF in present premises on the basis of this consent. The HCF has to comply with the zoning regulation of master plan & to be shifted from the site as and when asked by the Govt./PPCB/ or any concerned Govt. agency.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo3;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Bookman Old Style'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Bookman Old Style'; mso-font-width: 115%;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">4.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-font-width: 115%;">The HCF shall obtain other statutory approvals required from other departments, if any. </span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpLast" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo3;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Bookman Old Style'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Bookman Old Style';"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">5.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-font-width: 115%;">The HCF will submit Annual Report on Bio-Medical Waste Management in Form-IV by 30th June every year.</span></p> |
