CTOA/Renewal/LDH3/2021/14768529 dated 02.03.2021, valid upto 30.06.2025 for dyeing & finishing of polyester fabrics @ 10600 Kgs/day with discharge of trade Effluent @ 120 KLD into sewer after treatment through ETP & domestic effluent @ 2.5 KLD into sewer along</span><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif'; color: #5d5d5d; background: white;"> </span><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">with one boiler of 6 TPH with rice husk /agro waste/wood as fuel. </span></p>

As per the list, the industry has been temporarily allotted shares of 180 KLD. These shares are temporary/tentative and their finalization is under the consideration of the Board.</span></p>

This study was done by the GNE on entire existing dyeing machinery (Sealed and un-sealed) installed inside the dyeing units, by physically inspecting the site of each unit. As per the GNE report 2022, the industry has installed machinery for discharge of 680 KLD.</span></p>

As such, the quantum of effluent discharge from the industry is temporarily required to be restricted to 180 KLD.</span></p>

Further if any new machinery installed by industry after GNE report 2022 be sealed.</span></p>

The PDA has earlier allotted tentative shares @ 180 KLD vide its letter dated 22.07.2022. The industry has been allotted shares after trading of shares.</span></p>
<p style="margin-left: .75in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; background: white; font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; orphans: 2; widows: 2; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; text-decoration-thickness: initial; text-decoration-style: initial; text-decoration-color: initial; word-spacing: 0px;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">J)<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-fareast-theme-font: minor-fareast;">However, as per the direction has been issued by the Competent Authority vide no. 27541 dated 22.12.2020 to the SPV, Tajpur Road, that no new entity (existing or proposed unit) shall be allocated any shares by managing committee of SPV without the prior approval of the Chairman of the Board. However, in this case the industry has obtained extra shares by way of trading and without prior approval of the Competent Authority of the Board.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst" style="margin-left: .75in; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">K)<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">In this case, the industry has obtained extra shares by way of trading and without prior approval of the Competent Authority of the Board. There are several complaints regarding in judicial allotment of the shares by the PDA, Tajpur Road, Ludhiana, which is under process at Board and at Govt. Level. The industry has not any proof/ certificate regarding allotment of shares with authentication by Company Secretary.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-left: .75in; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">L)<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">Accordingly, consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>were refused vide no. CTOW/Varied/LDH3/2022/20229819 & CTOA/Varied/LDH3/2022/20233331 dated 16.12.2022 respectively.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-left: .75in; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">M)<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The matter has been considered by the Competent Authority and it has been issued notice u/s 33-A of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>and u/s 31-A of the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide Board's letter no. 71-72 dated 04.01.2023 with given an opportunity to file objections, if any, on the proposed action before the Chairman of the Board on 17.01.2023. Proceedings of the same are awaited.</span></p>

<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpLast" style="margin-left: .75in; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">O)<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry had already deposited Rs. 54,000/- vide UTR No. AXSK202580028166 dated 14.09.2020 under Water Act, 1974 & Rs. 54,000/- vide UTR No. AXSK202580028127 dated 14.09.2020 under Air Act, 1981, which is adequate upto 30.06.2025 under both acts. </span></p>
