<p style="text-align: justify;">The agenda note and report / recommendations of AEE/EE, RO, may kindly be perused.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">It is submitted that the industry is a small scale orange category industry and has been granted Consent to operate under the under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide no. CTOA/Fresh/LDH4/2021/16859201 dated 12.11.2021 is valid upto 11.05.2022.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Now, the industry has applied for renewal consent to operate under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981. The industry has deposited consent fee, which is adequate upto 30.11.2029.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">To verify the facts, the industry was visited by the officer of RO on 27.12.2022 and it was observed as under:-</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">1. The industry was in operation during the visit and is engaged in the process of forging of difference components.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">2. The industry has installed one forging hammers along-with oil fired re-heating furnace. The re-heating furnace provided with stack of adequate height. During visit air emission sample was collected from the porthole on stack after APCD (forging furnace) and as per result received from Zonal Lab, Ludhiana the concentration of particulate mater is found to be 64mg/Nm3 which are within prescribed limits.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">3. The industry has also installed one forging press along-with electrical billet heater.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">4. The industry has installed one electrically operated one shot blasting machine inbuilt bag filter house as APCD.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">5. There is no source of trade effluent generation, cooling water is re-circulated and domestic effluent is being discharged into sewer.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">In view of above, it is recommended for renewal of consent to operate under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 may be granted upto 30.09.2029 with suitable conditions.</p>
