<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;">The project proponent has applied fresh Consent to Establish under the provisions of Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for Sale of Four Wheel Vehicles @ 25 Numbers/Day, Servicing & Repair of Automobiles 25 Numbers/Day and Painting of Vehicles @ 3 Numbers/Day along with requisite documents.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;">The project proponent has submitted brief project report with value of proposed project cost is Rs. 19.9 lakh. After addition of 30 lakh as one year rent, the total proposed cost is Rs. 49.9 lakh. The project proponent has deposited Rs. 1800/- vide R no. 196057693 dated 14.01.2023 as NOC fees. The consent fee is not adequate.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;">The project proponent has submitted lease deed made on 01.06.2022 between Dr. Rakbir<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Kaur and Sh. Mohit P. Singh, Director & Authorised Signatory of Mohali Automobiles Pvt. Ltd. The project proponent has submitted Memorandum of Association of Mohali Automobile Pvt. Ltd.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;">On scrutinizing the application of the project proponent following observation were observed on 17.01.2023 with request to submit reply within 2 days.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;">The industry has submitted reply as under:</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: 35.45pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: -17.45pt;">2. <span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span>Total water requirement for all consumption (domestic & washing) is estimated at 10.7 kl /d say 11 kl/day (1.7 kl/day for domestic & 9 kl/d for washing). of this, 6.8 kl/d for washing would be met by reusing treated effluent and the deficiency of 3.9 kl/d will be met by piped & metered connection of the MC Mohali.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;">The industry has not submitted reply of clarification no. 1 & 3 and has not deposited adequate NOC fees.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;">The project proponent has submitted feasibility report, as per which the total water requirement for the project will be 10.7 KLD, out of which 3.9 KLD water will be met through MC supply and remaining 6.8 KLD from recirculation of treated wastewater after ETP. The total domestic wastewater generation from the project will be 1.7 KLD which will be directly discharged into MC sewer and trade effluent generation will be 8.5 KLD which will be treated in ETP of capacity 8.5 KLD & after treatment 6.8 KLD will be reused for washing and remaining 1.7 KLD will be disposed off into MC sewer. The project proponent has proposed to install paint booth and DG set of 62.5 KVA as source of emissions. Further, the project proponent has intimated that hazardous waste i.e. ETP Sludge, Used / Spent Lube Oil from Vehicles, Oily Residues (Filters etc) and Paint Booth Process Wastes & Sludges will be generated from the process.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;">The site was visited by the undersigned on 17.01.2023 and contacted Sh. Santosh, Electrician (9316111547). During visit it was observed as under:</p>

Further, components of the ETP have been arrived at the site. Minor interior work was going on during visit.</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: -18.0pt; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo2;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="mso-fareast-font-family: Calibri; mso-fareast-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">2.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]-->Paint booth has also been installed at the site which is provided with paint filters and stack of inadequate height and no sampling arrangements.</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpLast" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: -18.0pt; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo2;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="mso-fareast-font-family: Calibri; mso-fareast-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">3.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]-->The industry is located in industrial approved for setting up of such type of industries.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;">In view of above, it is recommended that show cause notice for refusal of Consent to Establish under the provisions of Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 with an opportunity of 7 days as the project proponent has not deposited adequate Consent to Establish fee.</p>
