CTE/Fresh/SAS/2022/17829693 dated 24/03/2022, having validity upto 28/02/2023, subject to certain conditions as mentioned therein.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 150%; margin: 12.0pt 0in .0001pt 0in;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%;">Thereafter, the institute was granted partial consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 vide no. CTOW/Fresh/SAS/2022/19110844 dated 25/08/2022 and under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide no. CTOA/Fresh/SAS/2022/19110495 dated 25/08/2022 both were valid upto 31/12/2022 for Operation of Academic Block 1 to 5, One Hostel Building block and sports complex to serve 5000 day scholar and 600 hosteller students, only, subject to certain conditions as mentioned therein.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 150%; margin: 12.0pt 0in .0001pt 0in;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%;">It is further submitted that the institute was visited by the Environmental Engineer and AEE of this office on 23.12.2022. <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 150%; margin: 12.0pt 0in .0001pt 0in;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%;">Now, the institute has applied for renewal of partial consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for existing project of Education institute with 5000 day scholars and 600 hostellers, for Academic Block 1 to 5, 01 Hostel Building block and sports complex with requisite documents and fees. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 150%; margin: 12.0pt 0in .0001pt 0in;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%;">The project proponent has submitted its CA certificate dated 14/06/2022 mentioning cost of fixed assets of Rs. 132.28 Crore, which remain same. The project proponent had earlier deposited Rs. 144500/- (Rs. 144000/- under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Rs. 500/- as application form fees) vide online UTR no. N167222001521038 dated 16/06/2022 and Rs. 144500/- (Rs. 144000/- under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 and Rs. 500/- as application form fees) vide online UTR no. N167222001513971 dated 16/06/2022. The consent fee deposited by the project proponent is adequate upto 30.06.2023 against the cost of the fixed assets of Rs .132.28 Crore.</span></p>

However, the institute has already placed an order to M/s Eco Paryavaran vide letter dated 26.5.2022 for installation of new STP @ 1.5 MLD and the installation work of STP has been started at the site. The representative conformed that the entire STP work shall be completed till April, 2023. Photographs taken during visit, which is enclosed. During visit, the STP of Nak Chand Hostel Building has been checked and observed the quality of treated effluent is improve.</span></p>

The competent authority has also issued show cause notice to the institute due to violation under the provisions of Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974. The institute has not submitted any reply of the said notice till date.</span></p>
