<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 103.5pt; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">It is intimated that, the industry is a small<span style="color: red;"> </span>scale red category dyeing unit and the industry was earlier granted consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 vide no. CTOW/Renewal/LDH3/2022/20438447 dated 21.11.2022 and under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide no. CTOA/Renewal/LDH3/2022/20437708 dated 21.11.2022 for dyeing of PC/Cotton Fabrics @ 1500 Kgs/day with trade effluent @ 100.0 KLD onto land for plantation and domestic effluent @ 1.0 KLD onto land for plantation after septic tank. Both are valid upto 30.06.2027.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 103.5pt; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">Thereafter, the industry was granted ‘Consent to Establish’ (NOC) for expansion under Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 vide no. CTE/Exp/LDH3/2022/20310359 dated 21.11.2022 for dyeing of polyester fabric @ 2000 Kgs/day and dyeing of PC/cotton fabric @ 4000 Kgs/day with the disposal of trade effluent @ 240.0 KLD onto land for plantation in an area 3.2 acre after treatment in ETP and domestic effluent @ 3.0 KLD onto land for plantation after passing through septic tank, which is valid upto 20.11.2023.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 103.5pt; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">Now, the industry has applied for varied consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 for dyeing of PC/Cotton fabrics @ 4000 Kgs/day and dyeing of polyester fabric @ 2000 Kgs/day with trade effluent @ 240 KLD onto land for plantation after ETP and domestic effluent @ 3.0 KLD onto land for plantation after septic tank. The industry had already deposited Rs. 36,000/- vide R. no. 81/5238 dated 04.07.2019 under Water Act, 1974 & Rs. 18,000/- vide R. no. 80/5238 dated 04.07.2019 under Air Act, 1981, Rs. 7,200/- vide R. no.79/5238 dated 04.07.2019 as NOC regularization fee, and Rs. 27,000/- vide R.no. 000106485658 dated 15.07.2021 under Water Act, 1974 & Rs. 27,000/- vide R.no. 000106485129 dated 15.07.2021 under Air Act, 1981.</span><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%;"> </span><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">Adequate upto 30.06.2028 under both acts.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry was visited by Officer of this office on 18.01.2023 and observed as under:-</span></p>

During the visit ETP was in operation and the effluent sample has been collected from the final outlet of the ETP and the same has been sent to the Zonal lab for analysis, results are awaited.</span></p>

During the visit agro waste was being used as fuel and air samples were collected and sent to the Zonal lab for analysis, results of the same are still awaited.</span></p>

The industry has planted fresh sapling in new plantation area. The plantation area provided by the industry is adequate to manage the quantum of discharge. </span></p>
