No. 565685043 dated 10.01.2023 under Water (Prevention &amp; Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 including Rs. 56534/- penalty / late fee, Rs. 5000/- under VDS scheme and Rs. 93534 vide R. No. 118139695 dated 10.01.2023 under Air (Prevention &amp; Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 including Rs. 56534/- penalty / late fee, Rs. 5000/- under VDS scheme. The total fee deposited by the project proponent is adequate upto 31.03.2028 against the total cost of the project Rs. 166 lacs.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: 1in; line-height: 150%; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The project proponent has submitted site plan / layout plan approved by Competent Authority for Singar Hotel &amp; Resturant Plan purpose to Sh. Sumar Chand S/o Sh. During the visit, it was observed as under:</span></p> <p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst" style="text-indent: -0.25in; line-height: 150%; text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">1.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The above project is a hotel-cum-restaurant located on Zirakpur &ndash;Shimla Highway.</span></p> <p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-indent: -0.25in; line-height: 150%; text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">2.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The project proponent has installed STP based on biological treatment and same was in operation during the visit.</span></p> <p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-indent: -0.25in; line-height: 150%; text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">3.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">During the visit, no outflow was observed from the final outlet of the STP.</span></p> <p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-indent: -0.25in; line-height: 150%; text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">4.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">Treated effluent is being discharged into sewer.</span></p> <p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpLast" style="text-indent: -0.25in; line-height: 150%; text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">5.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The project proponent has installed DG set with canopy and stack of adequate height.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: 1in; line-height: 150%; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">In view of the above, it is recommended that consent to operate under the provisions of the Water (Prevention &amp; Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention &amp; Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted upto 31.12.2027 subject to certain terms and conditions and following additional conditions that:</span></p> <p class="MsoBodyText" style="margin: 0in 0.15in 0.0001pt 0.5in; text-indent: -0.25in; line-height: 150%; text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; line-height: 150%; mso-bidi-language: PA;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">1.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; line-height: 150%; mso-bidi-font-family: Raavi; mso-bidi-language: PA;">This consent is only valid for operation of Hotel having 19 rooms capacity.
