CTOW/Fresh/LDH3/2022/20168131 & CTOA/Fresh/LDH3/2022/20168211 dated 18.11.2022 each, both valid upto 17.02.2023 for Washing of Knitted Cloth @ 1 T/day with discharge of trade </span><a href="mailto:effluent@5.8"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">effluent @ 5.8</span></a> <span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'MS Mincho';">KLD and domestic effluent @ 0.2 KLD into CETP 50 MLD, Tajpur road Ludhiana along with one baby boiler of capacity 300 Kgs. The directions u/s 33-A of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 was also issued to</span><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"> the PSPCL authorities to restore the electricity connection of the industry temporarily for three months i.e. upto 17.02.2023.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l4 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">B)<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">Now, the industry has applied for renewal of ‘Consent to Operate’ under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act 1974 and under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 through OCMMS. </span></p>

SBIN222274545006 dated 01.10.2022 under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & Rs. 7700/- vide UTR no. SBIN222274540988 dated 01.10.2022 under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981. The industry has submitted CA certificate dated 31.08.2022 and as per CA certificate value of gross fixed assets is 2.31 Lac. The consent fee deposited by the industry is adequate upto 31.05.2029 under both acts.</span></p>

The representative informed that unit is not in operation from last 2-3 months due to lack of work.</span></p>

The industry has not provided the flow meter at its final outlet leading to CETP. The industry was also advised to provide the flow meter at inlet water supply. The representative of the industry informed that industry is passing through huge financial loss due to earlier disconnection and request to give the time of one month to install flow meter at outlet. Moreover, the unit is presently not in operation.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l3 level1 lfo2; margin: 0in 0in .0001pt .75in;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma; mso-bidi-language: EN-US;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">6.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;">Further, some units have made the complaint regarding in judicial allotment of the shares by the PDA, Tajpur Road, Ludhiana, which is under process at Board and at Govt. Level. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 150%; margin: 0in 0in .0001pt .25in;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;">Till the finalization of the allotment of the shares of CETP 50 MLD, it is recommended that:</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -1.0in; mso-text-indent-alt: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo4; margin: 0in 0in .0001pt 1.0in;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;"><span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span>III.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Calibri;">The industry shall stop discharging its effluent in case due to any reason the CETP is not operational or dedicated conveyance system is overflowing.</span></p>
