CTOW/Varied/LDH3/2022/20106403 dated 26.10.2022 valid upto 25.01.2023 for Dyeing of Acrylic Yarn/Polyester Cloth @ 3000 kgs/day with discharge of trade effluent @ 397.5 KLD & domestic @ 1.5 KLD into conveyance system of CETP 50 MLD.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-left: 4.5pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l2 level1 lfo2;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">B)<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">Now, the industry has applied for renewal of Consent to Operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 through OCMMS. The industry has deposited Rs. 10,800/- vide UTR. No. N004232274998339 dated 04.01.2023 under Water Act, 1974, which is adequate upto <a name="_GoBack"></a>30.09.2024.</span></p>

<p class="MsoBodyText2" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -22.5pt; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo1; tab-stops: 512.6pt; margin: 0in 4.7pt .0001pt 31.5pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">4.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;">The study on effluent generation has been done by the Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College (GNE) and as per report it has total effluent generation as 424.8 KLD from its total 15 chambers of soft flow machines & 3 cabinet machines (120 Kg x 2, 60 Kg x 1). However, the industry has granted 399 KLD shares of CETP by PDA vide letter dated 22.07.2022, hence the discharge of the industry is 25.8 KLD more than the share allotted to it. Around 50% machines of the industry already sealed against the required sealing of 6%. Hence all the machinery of the industry was de-sealed except one cabinet of 60 Kg.</span></p>

The industry has provided the flow meter at its final outlet leading to CETP. The industry was also advised to provide the flow meter at inlet water supply.</span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText2" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -22.5pt; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo1; tab-stops: 512.6pt; margin: 0in 4.7pt .0001pt 31.5pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">6.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Calibri; mso-fareast-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;">Further, some units have made the complaint regarding in judicial allotment of the shares by the PDA, Tajpur Road, Ludhiana, which is under process at Board and at Govt. Level.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; margin: 0in 0in .0001pt 4.5pt;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">D)<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span></span><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;">Till the finalization of the allotment of the shares of CETP 50 MLD, it is recommended that:</span></p>

<li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l3 level1 lfo4;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Calibri;">Consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 may be granted for short period as approved by the Competent Authority in such cases for the discharge of trade effluent & domestic effluent @ 399 KLD into conveyance system of CETP 50 MLD at existing machinery subject to the condition that:-</span></li>

<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-left: 31.5pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo3; tab-stops: 31.5pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="mso-ascii-font-family: Calibri; mso-fareast-font-family: Calibri; mso-hansi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; letter-spacing: -.05pt; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">(ii)<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry shall make the necessary arrangements to achieve the effluent standards as per the inlet designed parameters of the CETP.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-left: 31.5pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo3; tab-stops: 31.5pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="mso-ascii-font-family: Calibri; mso-fareast-font-family: Calibri; mso-hansi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; letter-spacing: -.05pt; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">(iii)<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry shall stop discharging its effluent in case due to any reason the CETP is not operational or dedicated conveyance system is overflowing.</span></p>
