File Note: <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: Verdana, 'sans-serif'; background: white;">It is intimated that the hospital was granted consent to operate under Water (Prevention &amp; Control of Pollution) Act, 1974, which were valid upto 30.06.2021 Now, the hospital has applied consent to operate under Water (Prevention &amp; Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 &nbsp;through OCMMS with requisite documents. The hospital has submitted earlier granted consents, bed certificate, undertaking regarding complying under Water Act and Air Act. The hospital has already deposited Rs. 30000/- cheque No. 248124 dated 24.06.2021 under Water Act and Rs. 30000/- vide receipt No. 280187 dated 24.06.2021 Air Act. The fee deposited by the hospital is adequate upto 31.03.2025. </span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: Verdana, 'sans-serif'; background: white;">The hospital was visited by Environmental Engineer along with AEE on 18.01.2023 and observed as under:- 1) During visit, the hospital was in operation and is having bed capacity of 100 beds. 2) The HCF is provided with colour coded bins along with bags for the segregation of bio-medical waste of different categories and same are provided at each generation point such as General Wards, Operation Theater, Lab and dialysis section. 3) The HCF has constructed one common storage room for bio medical waste provided with lock and key arrangements. 4) The hospital has provided hypochlorite solution at lab, operation theatre and dialysis section. 5) The HCF has installed STP and was in operation. The domestic effluent and effluent after pre treatment from lab, operation theatre and dialysis section is sent to STP installed at backside of the HCF. 6) The HCF has submitted effluent analysis report from PBTI Mohali dated 19.09.2022, and as per concentration of various parameters within the prescribed by the Board. 7) The HCF has also provided plantation area and gardens which is used for irrigation of plants and lawns.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: Verdana, 'sans-serif'; background: white;">In view of above, it is recommended that consent to operate under Water (Prevention &amp; Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 may be granted upto 31.03.2025 with suitable terms and conditions.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: Verdana, 'sans-serif'; background: white;">(Competency SEE)</span></p>
