<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">Earlier, the project proponent was granted varied consent to operate under the provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 vide no. CTOW/Varied/SAS/2019/10102058 dated 08.07.2019 which was valid upto 31.03.2022 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide no. CTOA/Varied/SAS/2019/10101960 dated 08.07.2019 which was valid upto 31.03.2022 for Flats @ 240 Number and 10 shops including 24 EWS Flats subject to certain terms and conditions mentioned therein.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The promoter company had submitted the permission obtained for MC, Zirakpur for disposal of its treated wastewater into MC, sewer vide letter no. 2086 dated 01.10.2008 The promoter company had also obtained permission from the MC, Zirakpur for disposal of Municipal Solid Waste and lifting of garbage from the residential complex vide no. 1048 dated 12.06.2008. The industry had submitted the completion certificate of STP by M/s Eco Paryavaran Engineers & Consultants Pvt. Ltd., wherein it has been mentioned that they have successfully completed the work of supply, installation, testing and commissioning of STP of capacity of 125 KLD at the site of M/s Orbit Apartment Construction Pvt. Ltd.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The project proponent had obtained Environmental clearance from SEIAA, Punjab issued vide no. SEIAA/2008/39321 dated 22.10.2008. The project proponent has submitted undertaking that they have completed the entire construction before July, 2013 and has also submitted that the project proponent was granted EC for construction 254 flats and 12 shops. However, the project proponent has constructed only 240 flats and 10 shops including the 24 EWS flats.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">Thereafter, the project proponent applied for obtaining renewal of consent to operate under the provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 and same was proceed through OCMMS.</span></p>

As per analysis results received vide Head Office letter endst. no. 12846-48 dated 20.06.2022, the conc. of the parameters were within the prescribed limits of the Board for onto land for plantation however, is beyond the prescribed limits if discharged into sewer, as tabulated below:</span></p>

CTOA/Renewal/SAS/2022/18514091 dated 20.06.2022 which is valid upto 31.03.2026 subject to certain terms and conditions mentioned therein.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The application under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 was recommended for refusal of consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 as the prescribed parameter were beyond the prescribed limits of the Board. However, the project proponent was granted consent to operate under the provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 vide no. CTOW/Renewal/SAS/2022/18524948 dated 29.06.2022 which was valid upto 28.12.2022 subject to certain terms and conditions mentioned therein.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">Now, the project proponent has applied for obtaining renewal of consent to operate under the provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 alongwith requisite documents which may kindly be perused.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The project proponent had deposited Rs. 360000/- vide UTR No. SBINR52022030871028307 dated 08.03.2022 under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Rs. 362500/- vide UTR No. SBINR52022030871027901 dated 08.03.2022 including Rs. 2000/- facilitation and Rs. 500/- as FDF. The fee deposited by the project proponent is adequate upto 21.02.2027 against the total fixed assets of the project proponent Rs. 4511.0 lacs as per latest CA certificate submitted by the project proponent under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The project proponent has submitted compliance report of the previous granted consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The site of the industry was visited by AEE of this office on 18.01.2023. During the visit, it was observed as under:</span></p>
