<p>The results of the sample collected from the outlet of ETP folowed by STP has been received and are as under:</p>
<p>1) pH-7.7</p>
<p>2) TSS-62</p>
<p>3) COD-148</p>
<p>4) BOD-24</p>
<p>5) Oil & Grease-BDL</p>
<p>6) Bio-assay- 60% survival of fish after 96 hrs in 100% effluent</p>
<p>Hence the parameter Bio-assay is beyond the prescribed limits of the Board and rest all parameter are within limit.</p>
<p>It is pertinent to mention here that earlier the sample of the hospital was collected on 21.09.2022 and the results were as under:</p>

<p style="color: #5d5d5d; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: justify; background-color: #ffffff;">1) The hospital will again carry out water audit from some good institute of repute for checking the water wastage, reuse of treated water, reuse of RO reject for non core areas like flushing floor washing, reduction of use of RO treated water particularly in non- core areas etc., reuse of treated effluents for plantation etc.</p>

<p style="color: #5d5d5d; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: justify; background-color: #ffffff;">3) The hospital shall ensure that the organic waste composter is being used regularly and record of biodegradable waste treated and compost prepared shall be maintained.</p>

<p style="color: #5d5d5d; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: justify; background-color: #ffffff;">In view of above, it is recommended that the hospital may be issued show cause notice for refusal of Consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 with an opportunity of personal hearing.</p>
