<li class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Now, the industry has applied for renewal of consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 through OCMMS of the Board for manufacturing of for manufacturing of C.I Casting of Auto Parts @ 15 Metric Tonnes/Day by using Pig Iron and Steel Scrap @ 20 Metric Tonnes/Day as raw material.</span></li>

<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Symbol; mso-fareast-font-family: Symbol; mso-bidi-font-family: Symbol;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">·<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">As per office order issued by the Head Office, Patiala vide letter no. 59 dated 02.02.2016 and as per decision of officer meeting held at Head Office Patiala on 08.05.2018 that all the industries under orange and green category shall be processed on the basis of documents submitted by the industry without site verification.</span></p>

<li class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">As per application applied by the industry, there is no source of trade effluent generation and only domestic effluent is to be discharged into sewer. </span></li>
<li class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry has already submitted classification of area certificate vide letter No. 907 dated 20.04.2006 in which it is mentioned that site of the industry falls in industrial zone as per Master Plan Jalandhar. </span></li>
<li class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry has already submitted approved building plan from Competent Person under Factories Act, Punjab.</span></li>
<li class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The fixed assets of the industry have increased from Rs. 463.92 lacs (as per last CA certificate submitted at the time grant of previous consent) to Rs 690.16 lacs (as per latest CA certificate submitted as on 31.03.2022). The representative of industry submitted a list of additional machinery and as per which the industry has not installed any pollution machinery at site. The industry has submitted adequate NOC regularization fee for this increase & has also submitted adequate consent to operate fee under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 adequate upto 30.09.2027.</span></li>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 150%;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"><span style="mso-tab-count: 2;"> </span>Keeping In view of above, it is recommended that renewal of consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 may be granted to the industry upto 30.09.2027 with suitable conditions.
