<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The unit is a marriage palace and was granted consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 vide No. O16NWSCTOW4237798 dated 28.06.2016 valid upto 30.09.2020 for marriage palace along with domestic effluent @ 8.0 KLD to be used onto land for plantation after septic tank, subject to the conditions mentioned therein along with main condition that the unit shall provide oil & grease trap followed by well design septic tank . The unit was granted consent to operate under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide No. O16NWSCTOA4237794 dated 27.06.2016 valid upto 30.09.2020 for marriage palace along with DG Sets of capacity 01 No. 200 KVA, 01 No. of 125 KVA with canopy, subject to the conditions mentioned therein</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 36pt; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The unit was issued letter for violation of the provisions of Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for expiry of 'consent to operate' under the said Acts, with an opportunity to show cause in writing. Thereafter, the report in this regard were sent to ZO for taking action and again, the MP was issued SCN under the said Acts alongwith PH before SEE , ZO Jalandhar 26.04.2022.During hearing , it was decided as under :-</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 36pt; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The project proponent shall provide proper grit chamber, oil & grease trap followed by septic tank before discharge of domestic waste water onto land for plantation within 20-days.</span></p>

<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -18pt; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">10.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The project proponent shall ensure that there is no usages of single use plastic- thermocol disposable items such as water bottles / water pouches / water cups, plates, forks, spoons, straw etc. and single use decorating material made of plastic-thermocal or any other non-biodegradable material in the premises.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 36pt; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -18pt; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">11.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The project proponent shall make all necessary arrangements for compliance of Noise Pollution (Regulation and Control) Rules, 2000 & shall obtain required necessary permission from designated authorities for operation of DJ etc. as per provisions of Noise Pollution (Regulation and Control) Rules, 2000.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 36pt; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">To verify the compliance, It is intimated that the unit was visited by undersigned on 28.06.2022, report in this regard was sent to competent authority for further necessary action which is under process.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 36pt; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">Now, the marriage palace has applied for obtaining consent to operate of the Board under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 along with requisite documents. The marriage palace has deposited Rs. 168000/- vide UTR no. BKIDY23010397229 dt 1.10.2023 under both Acts. The fee deposited by the marriage palace is adequate upto 30.09.2027 including the penalty fee.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The industry was visited by the undersigned on 19.1.2023 and the details are as under: </span></p>

<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpLast" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt 41.25pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -23.25pt; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">2.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The marriage palace is not in operation due to off season as informed by the representative of the unit. The marriage palace provided one Hall, Kitty hall, 8 Rooms and Banquet Hall and capacity of hall is 500 persons as informed by the representative of the unit.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">Water Pollution and its Control:</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt 41.25pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -23.25pt; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">1.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The industry has installed 02 No. submersible pumps as source of fresh water.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt 41.25pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -23.25pt; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">2.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The unit has provided separate toilet units and kitchen for marriage palace and restaurant / kitty hall.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt 41.25pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -23.25pt; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">3.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The wastewater from restaurant/kitty hall side is passed through O&G traps and then collected in underground tank.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpLast" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt 41.25pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -23.25pt; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">4.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The domestic effluent / wastewater from marriage palace side toilets and kitchen is passed through the septic tank from where it is pumped for discharge onto land for irrigation purpose.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">Air Pollution and its Control:</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">Solid Waste Management</span></p>
