<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 6.0pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-size: 13.0pt;">To a query of CEE regarding when was APCD last monitored, it is submitted that as per record file, the stack emission sampling of boiler of capacity 3 TPH capacity equipped with 30 m stack and cyclone as APCD was carried out by the Regional Office, Patiala on 08.06.2017 and as per analysis report, the concentration of suspended particulate matter was 304 mg/Nm3 against the permissible limit for such type of units. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 6.0pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-size: 13.0pt;">Besides above, the industry has got its air emission sample of boiler of capacity 3 TPH capacity equipped with 30 m stack and cyclone as APCD analysed from the laboratory namely Centre for Industrial Testing and Research Organization, SAS Nagar registered with Ministry of MSME, Govt. of India. The air emission sample was collected by the said laboratory on 19.11.2022 and from the perusal of the analysis report, it has been reveals that the concentration of suspended particulate matter was 124 mg/Nm3 against the permissible limit for such type of units. A copy of the analysis report submitted by the industry is enclosed herewith for ready reference.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 6.0pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-size: 13.0pt;">From the above, it is evident that air emission analysis results were within permissible limits as per the standard prescribed for such type of units. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 6.0pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-size: 13.0pt;">In view of above, it is proposed that recommendations made by the AEE of this office may please be accepted. </span></p> |
