<p> May If approved CTO under the Water Act,1974 applied by the industry be granted up to <span style="background-color: #ffffff; color: #5d5d5d; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: justify;">30.06.2025 with special </span><span style="background-color: #ffffff; color: #5d5d5d; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: justify;">as proposed by EE, RO. A special condition may be imposed that </span></p>
<p><span style="text-align: justify; font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: Verdana, 'sans-serif'; color: #5d5d5d; background-image: initial; background-position: initial; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial;">1)</span><span style="text-align: justify; font-family: Arial, 'sans-serif'; color: #5d5d5d;"> <span lang="EN-IN">The industry shall not discharge any trade effluent (treated or untreated) into sewer choe / drain /river or in any inland surface water at any time or any other unauthorized place by any unauthorized means.</span></span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; color: #5d5d5d; mso-ansi-language: EN-IN;"> 2)The industry shall obtain the necessary clearance for the abstraction of groundwater from the Punjab Water Regulation & Development Authority (PWRDA).</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify; background: white;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; color: #5d5d5d; mso-ansi-language: EN-IN;">3) In case of any violation action u/s 33-A of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 will be initiated for closure of the project proponent without further notice.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify; background: white;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; color: #5d5d5d; mso-ansi-language: EN-IN;">EE, RO may also be requested to monitor the industry to verify compliance with environmental law and send the report along with recommendations.</span></p>
