<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 81.0pt;">It is submitted that the industry was issued show cause notice vide ZO letter no. 42 dated 04.01.2023 with an opportunity of personal hearing before the Senior Environmental Engineer, wherein Regional Office was directed to submit the report w.r.t. certain observations as therein. Accordingly, the industry was again visited by AEE of this office on 20.01.2023 and reply corresponding of each observation is incorporated in the table below:</p>

Also, kindly specify whether common APCD has been installed with both the balls mills or individual APCD have been installed.</p>

The classifier of each ball mill is separately attached to cyclone followed by bag filter house having 54 PTEF coated polyester spun bound media filter bags followed by ball mill each of which is then separately provided with bag filter having 96 PTFE coated polyester spun bound media filter bags. We have installed storage cum feeding silo for the storage and feeding of fly ash. This APCD with 96 bags has been connected with all dust emission points such as bagging section of cement, ball mill etc. to arrest the emissions.</p>

The reply to which mentioning rectifications done by the industry against contentions of the complaint, was submitted to the Govt. vide Board's letter no. 25862 dated 02.12.2021.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 81.0pt;">It is further submitted that the industry vide its reply dated 19.01.2023 has submitted justification with regard to increased value of investment than proposed while obtaining CTE from the Board,<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>building plan approved under Factory Act, 1948,<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>ball mill bills mentioning capacity, compliance of conditions of Consent to Establish (NOC). Moreover, the industry has deposited sample testing fee and air emission sample will be collected by this office in due course as and when ball mills get operational.</p>
