<p class="MsoNormal" style="color: #5d5d5d; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: justify; background-color: #ffffff; line-height: 24px;">Sir, as per note the AEE has reported that the DTP, Ludhiana vide letter no. 2727 dated 07/12/2022 has submitted that the site falls in Industrial Mix Zone and falls within MC Limits. The industry is already in operation. As the industry falls in the Green category, the Byelaws of the Master plan include “The Mixed Land use zone along abovesaid roads shall not include uses like manufacturing and industries prohibited in such area by the Science, Technology and Environment Deptt.”</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="color: #5d5d5d; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: justify; background-color: #ffffff; line-height: 24px;">There are no such industry-specific guidelines for such types of units by the Board, the industry can be allowed to operate and Consent to Operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974, and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted for short term subject to suitable conditions and special condition that it will obtain CLU from MC, Ludhiana and will submit the same in this office within 02 months.</p>
