<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-top: 12.0pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">It is submitted that the industry was earlier granted consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 vide no. CTOW/Varied/SAS/2018/8436913 dated 21/09/2018 and under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide no. CTOA/Varied/SAS/2018/8436886 dated 21/09/2018 both having validity 30/09/2023 for CRUSHING, SCREENING CUM WASHING OF AGGREGATES @ 5000 CFT/day by using RIVER BED MATERIAL @ 5000 CFT/day as raw material, subject to certain conditions as mentioned therein.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-top: 12.0pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">Now, the industry has applied for renewal of consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 with same production capacity.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-top: 12.0pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry has submitted its CA certificate mentioning the cost of the fixed assets of Rs. 35.90 lakh as on 31/12/2022. The industry had earlier deposited Rs. 9600/- (Rs. 4800/- under each Act) through cheque dated 14/09/2018. Therefore, the fee deposited by the industry is adequate upto 30/09/2023.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-top: 12.0pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry has now deposited Rs. 14,500/- vide online R no. 716751425 dated 21/01/2023 under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Rs. 15000/- (Rs. 14,500/- under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 and Rs. 500/- as application form fees) vide online R. no. 897335754 dated 21/01/2023 against the cost of the fixed assets of Rs. 35.90 lakh. The consent fees deposited by the industry is adequate upto 30/09/2028, under both the Acts.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-top: 12.0pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry has submitted its compliance report of conditions earlier granted to it under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-top: 12.0pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">It is further submitted that the Board has passed circular for auto-renewal of consents under Orange and Green category without visit of the unit, the order is reproduced as under:</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 27.0pt; margin: 0in .25in 10.0pt 1.0in;"><em><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1; background: white;">It is pertinent to mention here that the Board vide Office Order No. 59 dated 02.02.2016 decided to grant auto renewal of Consent to Operate/ Establish to Orange & Green Category of Industries within 7 days of its application submission without the need of visiting the site/ premises of the industry, in order to facilitate the industry.</span></em></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">Keeping in view of the above, it is recommended that the consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for CRUSHING, SCREENING CUM WASHING OF AGGREGATES @ 5000 CFT/day by using RIVER BED MATERIAL @ 5000 CFT/day as raw material may be renewed upto 30/09/2028, with additional condition that the industry will not indulge itself in any kind of illegal mining and will obtain raw material from legal mining sources only.</span></p>
