Satnam Singh, Relative of the owners (9781814441). During visit it was observed as under: 1.       The industry SG Engineering is engaged in manufacturing of watch case, water filter parts, piston & BP machine body etc using virgin plastic granules and has installed 2 no injection moulding machine. 2.       The industry has not installed DG set. 3.       The industry is operating without CTO under Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 under green category. Thereafter, the industry was given an opportunity of personal hearing before the Environmental Engineer on 02.11.2022. During hearing it was decided as under: 1.                   The industry will ensure the compliance of the provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981. 2.                   The industry shall not carry out any process which is covered under Orange/Red category within its premises. 3.                   The industry will apply ‘Consent to Operate’ under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 of the Board within 07 days. Now, the project proponent has applied fresh Consent to Operate under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for manufacturing of Watch Case, BP Machine Case, Water Filter Part, Packing Tool Box Etc. @ 50000 Nmber/Year along with requisite documents. The project proponent has submitted CA Certificate with the value of fixed assets of Rs. 1.20 crore on 31.03.2022. The project proponent has deposited Rs. 44,800/- vide R no. 733045833 dated 22.12.2022. After deduction of late fee, NOC regularization fee, the consent fee is adequate till 31.05.2024. The project proponent has submitted electricity bill as proof of date of commissioning, as per which date of commissioning date is 04.06.2020. The project proponent has submitted allotment letter of industrial plot no. 134, MK Technology Park, Landran-Banur Highway, Mohali issued by M/s Mahakali Developers. The project proponent has submitted manufacturing process as under: Inquary – Quotation –PO/ADV Payment – Material Order – Part Model & M Design Approval – Planning & Machining – Inspection & Quality Check – Assembly – Full Payment – Dispatch/ Trial. The project proponent has submitted approved building plan form competent person under Factory Act, 1948. The project proponent has submitted copy of GST certificate as proprietor ship proof. The industry was visited by the officer of the Board on 18.11.2022  and contacted Sh. Satnam Singh, Relative of the owners. During visit it was observed as under: 1.       The industry SG Engineering is engaged in manufacturing of watch case, water filter parts, piston & BP machine body etc using virgin plastic granules and has installed 2 no injection moulding machine. 2.       The industry has not installed DG set.  No other source of air pollution installed. 3.       The industry is located in M.K Technology Park Industrial area approved for setting up of green category industries. 4.       The domestic effluent generated from the industry is disposed into sewer laid down by Mahakali Developers in the Industrial Park which is further treated in STP of 100 KLD installed by it. No trade effluent is generated from the process. 5.       The STP installed by Mahakali Developers was also visited and observed that the same was in operation and sample from outlet of STP was collected and results are within perceived limit of the Board. In view of above, it is recommended that further action on the Show cause notice may be dropped ‘consent to operate’ under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted till 31.12.2023 with special conditions as under: a.                   The industry will not make any expansion in the process without obtaining prior varied NOC of the Board. b.                  The industry will not carry out/install any water/air polluting process in the premises without obtaining prior varied NOC of the Board. c.                   The industry will not carry any process within the plot which is covered under orange/red category as per categorization of the industries issued by the Board. *Competency – Environmental Engineer </td> </tr> </tbody> </table> </td> </tr> </tbody> </table>
