<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">The kiln was earlier granted consent to operate under the Air Act, 1981 vide no. CTOA/Renewal/LDH4/2022/18728075 issued on 20.07.2022 which was valid upto 31.12.2022 with temporary restoration of electric connection upto 13.01.2023 for operation of brick kiln with Zig-zag technology to manufacture bricks & tiles @ 30,000 nos./day, <span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 107%;">subject to the conditions mentioned therein.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">Now the Brick kiln has applied for renewal of consent to operate under Air Act, 1981 for operation of brick kiln with Zig-zag technology to manufacture bricks & tiles @ 30,000 nos./day. The kiln has deposited consent fees of Rs. 18000/- through online vide R.no. SBIN120364709984 dated 29.12.2020 under Air Act, 1981 against the fixed asset of Rs. 18.74 lac as per the C.A. certificate, which is adequate up to 30.09.2028.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">The brick kiln has submitted DTP certificate vide no. 1922<span style="mso-bidi-language: PA;"> dated 16.08.2022 stated as under:-</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>“<em><span lang="PA" style="font-family: 'Raavi',sans-serif; mso-ascii-font-family: Calibri; mso-ascii-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-hansi-font-family: Calibri; mso-hansi-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-bidi; mso-bidi-language: PA;">ਇਸ ਭੱਠੇ ਦੀ ਸਾਈਟ ਲੋਕਲ ਪਲੈਨਿੰਗ ਏਰੀਆ, ਅਹਿਮਦਗੜ੍ਹ (2010-2031) ਵਿੱਚ ਪੈਂਦੀ ਹੈ। ਅਹਿਮਦਗੜ੍ਹ ਦਾ ਮਾਸਟਰ ਪਲੈਨ ਅਜੇ ਤਿਆਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਉਕਤ ਭੋਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਭੱਠਾ ਚਾਲੂ ਰੱਖਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਸ ਦਫਤਰ ਨੂੰ ਕੋਈ ਇਤਰਾਜ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ।</span></em><em><span style="mso-bidi-language: PA;">“</span></em><span style="mso-bidi-language: PA;"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">The Brick kiln was visited by the officer of this office on 23.01.2023<span style="color: red;"> </span>and it was observed as under:-</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">and it was observed as under:</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">1. The kiln was in operation during visit.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">2. The kiln has converted its kiln to zig-zag technology as per design of CBRI. The CBRI has issued completion certificate dated 07.12.2020.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">3. The kiln has provided a ladder and a platform with the stack for collection of emission sample.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">4. The kiln has stabilized the periphery road / movement area.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">5. The kiln has provided adequate plantation all along its boundary.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">6. No unauthorized fuel was observed to be stored in brick kiln. The representative of the brick kiln was also guided to not use of unauthorized fuel.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">Keeping in view of above, it is recommended as under: -</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">1. Consent to operate under the Air Act, 1981 may be granted to the brick kiln for production of bricks & tiles @ 30,000 number/day under orange category for a period up to 30.09.2028, subject to the suitable conditions along with the following special conditions: -</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.5in; mso-text-indent-alt: -.25in; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;"><span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span>I.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]-->The brick kiln shall not use/stored any unauthorized fuel at the kiln site.</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.5in; mso-text-indent-alt: -.25in; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;"><span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span>II.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]-->The Brick Kiln may also develop the vermicomposting/composting to manage the biodegradable solid waste. PP shall not throw, burn or bury any solid wastes in open, outside premises or in drain/water bodies.</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.5in; mso-text-indent-alt: -.25in; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;"><span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span>III.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]-->The Brick kiln shall promote use of alternatives of single use plastics (SUP) and awareness to discourage use of plastic, through their Corporate Environment Responsibility (CER) activities. (See attached banner)</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.5in; mso-text-indent-alt: -.25in; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;"><span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span>IV.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]-->The Brick kiln shall ensure that there are no usages of single use plastic- thermocol disposable items such as water bottles / water pouches/water cups, plates, forks, spoons, straw etc. and single use decorating material made of plastic-thermocol or any other non-biodegradable material in the premises.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpLast" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.5in; mso-text-indent-alt: -.25in; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;"><span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span>V.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]-->The Brick kiln shall properly handle and manage the solid wastages as per the provisions of the Municipal Solid Waste Rules 2016 and ensure that the solid waste is segregated & disposed of in an environmentally sound manner.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">2. The electric connection of the Brick kiln be restored permanently.</p> |
