<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: .5in;"><span style="font-size: 15.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 11.0pt;">The industry has installed ETP in its premises and is treating its effluent through it. Further, as per the condition no. 2 of the consent to operate granted to it under the Water Act, 1974, the industry has got its treated trade effluent samples analysed from NABL approved lab (Reports submitted online). Further, the industry has also requested the Board the collection and analysis of its treated trade effluent. It is clarified here that the industry has provided evaporator after ETP for the disposal of treated trade effluent, therefore, there is no need of collection and analysis of treated trade effluent as it is a Zero Liquid Discharge unit. Lastly, it is submitted that this office has proposed to collect the ETP samples as per the request of the industry for the same, which was given in compliance to the condition no. 2 of the last consent granted to the industry. Further, the same can be collected at inlet of ETP and after filters (before Evaporator) to check the efficiency for treatment of effluent before evaporator.</span></p> |
