<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"> It is intimated that SCN for refusal of renewal of CTO under the Water Act, 1974 along with an opportunity to submit the reply within 7 days was issued to the industry vide Board's letter no. 206-07 dated 9/1/2023.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">the reply submitted by the industry is not satisfactory as RO has reported that the quantity of balance water submitted by the industry in its record and as per calculation done by RO vary with each other. CTO applied by the industry is pending since 31/12/22.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">If approved CTO under the Water Act,1974 applied by the industry may be refused. EE, RO may also be requested to send the further report through e-note, please.</span></p>
