CTE/Exp/SGR/2022/17503381 dated 09/05/2022, valid upto 09/05/2023 for manufacturing of Gamma Oryzanol (Loose Powder) @ 0.4 Metric Tonnes/ Day, Capsules (Gamma Oryzanol / Food Supplement) @ 800000 Numbers /Day (capacity 150 mg/ capsule) by using Rice Bran Oil Soap Stock @ 15 Metric Tonnes/Day, Hexane@ 4000 ltr/day, Methanol @ 150 ltr/day, Sulphuric acid@ 800 ltr/day & Caustic lye @ 270 kg/day as raw material, subject to certain conditions mentioned therein.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="text-indent: 81.0pt; margin: 1.9pt 9.65pt .0001pt 4.55pt;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 10.5pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 11.0pt;">Now, the industry has applied for obtaining varied consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for manufacturing of Gamma Oryzanol (Loose Powder) @ 0.4 Metric Tonnes/ Day, Capsules (Gamma Oryzanol / Food Supplement) @ 800000 Numbers /Day (capacity 150 mg/ capsule) by using Rice Bran Oil Soap Stock @ 15 Metric Tonnes/Day, Hexane@ 4000 ltr/day, Methanol @ 150 ltr/day, Sulphuric acid@ 800 ltr/day & Caustic lye @ 270 kg/day as raw material. </span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="text-indent: 81.0pt; margin: 1.9pt 9.65pt .0001pt 4.55pt;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 10.5pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 11.0pt;">The industry has deposited consents fee of Rs. 42,000/- vide UTR no. N323222213200117 dated 19/11/2022 under the Water Act, 1974 & Rs. 42,000/- vide UTR no. N323222213200240 dated 19/11/2022 under the Air Act, 1981 and Rs. Rs. 500/- vide UTR no. N323222213193802 dated 19/11/2022 as application fee against the value of gross fixed assets of Rs. 1879.24 lacs as on 31.08.2022, which is adequate upto 30/06/2024. The industry has also deposited Rs. 21,600/- vide R. No. 138193555 dated 12/01/2023as NOC regularization fee.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="text-indent: 81.0pt; margin: 1.9pt 9.65pt .0001pt 4.55pt;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 10.5pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 11.0pt;">The industry was visited by this office on 31/12/2022 and during visit, it was observed as under:- </span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="mso-list: l0 level7 lfo1; margin: 1.9pt 9.65pt .0001pt .5in;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 10.5pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 11.0pt;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">1.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 10.5pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 11.0pt;">The industry was in operation and engaged in manufacturing of Gamma Oryzanol / Food Supplement Capsules.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="mso-list: l0 level7 lfo1; margin: 1.9pt 9.65pt .0001pt .5in;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 10.5pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 11.0pt;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">2.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 10.5pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 11.0pt;">The industry has installed ETP consisting of collection cum aeration tank, chemical dosing and reaction tank, primary tube settler, biological tanks, Secondary tube settler, Pre-filtration tank & filters, Ultra-filtration and thereafter the treated effluent is reused as boiler feed and RO reject is fed into multi effect evaporator (triple effect). The industry has proposed to treat trade effluent to be generated from the expansion project in the existing ETP of adequate capacity @ 24 KLD. </span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="mso-list: l0 level7 lfo1; margin: 1.9pt 9.65pt .0001pt .5in;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 10.5pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 11.0pt;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">3.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 10.5pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 11.0pt;">The industry has installed 1 no. boiler of 2.0 TPH capacity based on wood/pet coke as fuel & equipped with cyclone followed by duel stage alkali scrubber as APCD alongwith online SO2 analyzer and pH meter. </span></p>

DG sets of capacity 250 KVA, 250 KVA & 40 KVA, which are equipped with canopy and stack of adequate height. </span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="mso-list: l0 level7 lfo1; margin: 1.9pt 9.65pt .0001pt .5in;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 10.5pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 11.0pt;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">7.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 10.5pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 11.0pt;">The industry has proposed expansion in its existing premises only. The representative of the industry has informed that the industry has not proposed to construct any new building. The industry has proposed to increase in value of fixed assets in building is due to construction of foundations for installation of new machinery and some repair work in old existing foundations of machinery.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="mso-list: l0 level7 lfo1; margin: 1.9pt 9.65pt .0001pt .5in;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 10.5pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 11.0pt;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">8.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 10.5pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 11.0pt;">The industry is complying with the conditions granted in the previous consent to operate of the Board.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span></span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="text-indent: 81.0pt; margin: 1.9pt 9.65pt .0001pt 4.55pt;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 10.5pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 11.0pt;">Keeping in view of above, it is therefore, recommended that varied consent to operate may be granted to the industry under Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 for manufacturing of Gamma Oryzanol (Loose Powder) @ 0.4 Metric Tonnes/ Day, Capsules (Gamma Oryzanol / Food Supplement) @ 800000 Numbers /Day (capacity 150 mg/ capsule) by using Rice Bran Oil Soap Stock @ 15 Metric Tonnes/Day, Hexane@ 4000 ltr/day, Methanol @ 150 ltr/day, Sulphuric acid@ 800 ltr/day & Caustic lye @ 270 kg/day as raw material for a period upto 30/06/2024 with suitable conditions as per policy of the Board.</span></p> |
