<p>The application was scrutinized and it was found that the applicant has proposed to setup a unit for recycling waste plastic. As per the record, all the recycling plastic units are engaged in the washing of raw material prior to the extrusion process. The applicant has not mentioned the quantity of effluent to be generated in the application form, nor proposed any treatment. Nor mentioned any details of the pollution control device to be provided for controlling the fumes in the process of recycling. So the application cannot be processed in the absence of vital details regarding the source of air emission and effluent generation. Earlier the application of the industry was returned by Regional office-4, Ludhiana and now the competency lies with your good self. kindly give the approval to return the application. </p> |
