<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.5in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">It is intimated that the industry is a small scale red category unit, the industry was earlier granted consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 vide no. CTOW/Renewal/LDH3/2021/17342359 dated 23.11.2021 for the production of dyeing of digital printing on fabrics (ladies suits) @ 400 numbers/day with the disposal of trade effluent @ 50.0 KLD and domestic effluent @ 1.5 KLD into 15 MLD CETP, which was expired on 22.11.2022.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.5in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">Now, the industry has applied for renewal consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 for the production of dyeing of digital printing on fabrics (ladies suits) @ 400 numbers/day with the disposal of trade effluent @ 50.0 KLD and domestic effluent @ 1.5 KLD into 15 MLD CETP. The industry has deposited Rs. 43,200/- vide UTR no. INDBN29092460028 dated 29.09.2021 under Water Act, 1974 and Rs. 14,400/- vide UTR no. N020232298143017 dated 20.01.2023 as NOC regularization fee which is adequate upto 30.09.2024.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry was visited by the officer of this office on 25.01.2023 and observed that:-</span></p>

The industry was using wood as fuel in its boiler.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.5in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">In view of above, it is recommended that the consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 for the period of one year may be granted to the industry as the CETP is not achieving the prescribed discharge standards with </span><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; color: black; mso-bidi-language: PA;">the special condition that the industry in any case shall not discharge the trade effluent more than 50 KLD into the conveyance system of CETP.</span></p> |
